Im not even 30 and I never liked mobile slop. Oh great angry birds. Wow great thats awesome I could do this on a web browser with better controls. Oh a really stripper down version of minecraft with controls that feel like shit.

Seriously how the fuck has mobile gaming never evolved? Touch control feels fucking awful for most things, so games should be built around simple actions. It feels like at some point it just became more about chasing revenue than doing something unique to the hardware.

I blame centralized stores that encourage MTX infested shovelware, but honestly anyone interested in serious gaming on the go, be it players or devs, have much better options with handhelds, stronger hardware, better controls, more dedicated userbase. Also most mobile games of decent quality and above already have a PC port. Mobile now is just a social gayming platform aka farmville clones.
