DO use the field medic perk. DON'T go for a rez if it'll just get you killed.>Don't stand on or near Dotty during flying rocks or rock traps stages.>Use the friendly perk if you're not good at checking your fire or staying out of other dwarves lines of fire.>If you're a driller, it's usually good to drill back to the drop pod. Not always faster but makes dealing with bugs ez. Tell your team you're gonna drill and spam ping the entrance to your tunnel so other dwarves can find it if they don't immediately pile in.>Press V to rock & stone frequently.>Don't stand next to the bulk detonator.>If you're good at schuut games/horde games you can probably do at least haz 3 from the start.This game gets some hate on /v/ since it's considered redditcore but it's still a good game, and the playerbase is surprisingly present. The in-game chat actually gets used, dwarves usually don't ignore your messages, teamwork exists. It's comfy.

>>738910970A solid amount of fun, the early game is a bit of a grind to get all the upgrades but its nothing too seriousThe only negative i can think of is that build variety is tied to overclocks and you'll be grinding them for a while, it's not as bad as before, you used to only be able to get 3 weapon overclocks per week, nowadays on top of that you get one each time you promote one of your dwarves, but its still someting that may rub you the wrong way
