Haven't played Saros but honestly it's a shame because Returnal is legit a good game. Like it's the best I played on PS5 back before I switched to PC and IMO one of the top games of the gen. I really feel like it could have cemented itself as an instant classic if not for the baffling decisions they made about the MC. And I'm not even saying this as someone who is against the MC myself because I'm mid-thirties and too old for coomer shit. But objectively it's undeniable that people are shallow and attractive characters sell games. Look at Resident Evil for proof. They make only attractive characters every game and do record sales every time despite the gameplay being mediocre as hell. Meanwhile Returnal is actually fun but still underplayed.
