Tekken 8 was a huge success, Bandai Namco allowed him to waste millions of dollarsWhat is the real reason why he left Bandai Namco to join SNK?
>>738917489Fighting games are so fucking boring
Mid hires mid.
he was just one man part of a very large studio
takken 8 is horrible and snk needs something to revive.
>>738917489Bamco got tired of him delaying every multiplat for switch by 1 year for no reason.
>>738917914>nintednotroon delusion
>>738917489Money.
>>738917489Its absurdly clear he was underpaid, couldn't trust any of his workers with Namco and was fucking miserable working on Tekken 8.Tekken 8 had more leaks than a porcupine's condom.
>>738917489these guest characters are getting out of hand
>>738917489Bandai just had a restructuring lately. He probably didn't like it, or the old guards got kicked.
>>738917489He got promoted. The kind of Jap promotion where you just get shoved into an office to do nothing but count beans and be a mascot for the brand. He actually wanted to make video games (especially after Itagaki died, which reminded him of his limited time on earth) so he ditched Bamco, took some of the Tekken guys that were loyal to him and hooked up with SNK to make a studio as they would let him do whatever he wanted. Also he's said in the past that Samsho is his favorite fighting game and he really wants to make a Samsho some day.
>[Celebrity] joins [Peepeepoopoo]!same energy as the average youtube ad
I just want to know who made T8 into the disaster it is.
>What is the real reason why he left Bandai Namco to join SNK?Hopefully, to work on an Art of Fighting reboot.
>>738917489im sure tekken 8 sold well but i've heard nothing but bad things about it from people that play it apparently the last season was supposed to fix a bunch of stuff but ended up making things worse
>>738917489Y did he leave Namco just to join snk? When he left I thought it was because he was tired of making fighting games. No way his new project with snk isn't a fighting
