I do really like Galaxy and it's quite the spectacle, but after replaying it in the 3D All Stars set after 64 and Sunshine, it feels absolutely miserable to control Mario.

I hadn't played the games since their original Wii release, so I bought the Switch version and right now I'm only missing the last three worlds worth of green stars in Galaxy 2, and as much as I miss Rosalina and the observatory, 2's levels are just so much more fun.

>>738932043It's artificially long, I'm sure Odyssey is even longer, but the problem with Galaxy is that, if you want to truly 100% the game, you have to beat the game twice as both Mario and Luigi, only then you get access to the Grand Finale Galaxy, which you also have to complete twice. There's also the problem that many of the purple coin stars are way too long with how spread they can be through the whole level. 2 at least fixes this issue by having the second 120 stars being spread through all of the levels, so getting them is way faster, and the purple coin levels are very short and way more fun.
