The elephant in the room is that the player base of Monster Hunter is largely gay. With World, gays could be vocal in bitching about Handler (a realistic representation of a woman triggers them greatly), but her presence was inconsequential, so gays still played the game. Wilds banked their success on big titty bimbos, and gays just didn't have anything to say, they dropped the game entirely, because otherwise it was subpar.Same is true about a numbet of other Jap games (Armored Core for example), where devs have to accout for how gay the players are.
