Just view CS the same way you view poker. Yes, there are things you can do to minimise the impact RNG has, but at the end of the day you can run the exact same inputs for a frag through a simulator and get different results. The only skill in CS is learning utility. Once you have counter-strafing down and a rough idea of the patterns, you've basically mastered the game.
