They toned down muscle fatigue more, it's still retarded but not quite as crippling once you get some skill and strength. Devs still hate small blades so if you want to use them you basically have to become a blacksmith and carver to have a steady supply of brittle knives to break off in the zombies. You also basically have to survive until spring if you want to farm now, plants have an internal killswitch that triggers if they sense the wrong season - farm animals if you want free food. They have an "Extinction" game mode too which hopefully will act as a sink for all the unemployed masochists that have been wrecking the standard game balance for literally years. It can be comfy and it's still taking stupid risks that will kill you.

I think they are getting into a similar rut that the people contributing to C:DDA did.
And last I saw, that resulted in the guy in charge of the codebase getting annoyed and starting to just rip shit out of it.

Depressed the hell out of me because I had spent time custom coding a solution to the decade of spaghetti code regarding electronic devices and storage of information on them.
I wouldn't have even been allowed to submit it because C:DDA only wants people to submit incremental changes, and I was looking to replace a number of scattered functions with a unified system that let you define what things any electronic (with information storage) could do via a set of flags in the item's json file.

The latest town has a pub in it, they call shit weird names, guns are still relatively rare and the system for them is weird, despite having a heat system its not really reflective of the heat in Kentucky, the terrain is entirely flat. Wasted Potential: The Game.
It's honestly amazing how retarded some devs can be. I love how they did absolutely nothing for nearly 4 years even after getting a large spike in sales and popularity. Instead of actually adding content that everyone from the hardcore players to casuals beg for, they instead triple down on useless additions and decided to make every 10x more grindy. This game is a perfect example of what not to do as a game dev. I am so happy I pirated a key for this game.
