I don't know why they don't just take a note from The Finals and allow you to buy the older season passes. Ultimate is hiding under the map, selecting an area, sand will start bubbling as a visual queue, then a giant Sandman hand slams the area 3 times and everyone caught in it is stunned and each slam does 200 damage. The giant Sandman is shootable so that's a way to make it balanced.

Yeah, his ult takes an eternity to gain and you'll be lucky to do it twice a game, but I don't think it's a great idea to have a walking damage sponge on each team. He can survive basically anything anyone else can twice over and has a shield, a laser beam, and has a jump to get away if he wants. He's essentially a better Strange, Magneto, and Thing 80% of the time.
