If Jak and Daxter series had continued the quirky jungle adventure setting after the first game, would you like it still?

i liked it more than jak 2 and 3 its comfy
it is pretty dark in the later half tho
2 and 3 are like top 40 games all time tho lol
just too frustrating
man i miss og naughty dog before neil druckman wiped his ass on the whole studio

Fun fact: Druckmann was already working at ND during the time Jak 3 and was one of the programmers

Being blunt dude I don't think Jak and Daxter had much to offer the characters look weird and strange. Jak's species being elves but with RIDICULOUSLY big Dumbo style ears just looks silly. The characters look too strange to be endearing long term. The only compliment I can give Jak is he looks better than Rayman. But that's not saying much.

I never felt compelled to play as Jak because I thought he looked weird. As such his series never interested me much. And weirder still is the decision to get dramatic and edgy with such ridiculous looking cartoony characters. I can see why Jak died, he already looks somewhat divisive and then they tried to turn him into Shadow the Hedgehog. And it didn't work.

Of course I would like it; would it be as iconic and legendary without 2&3? No way fag

Jak and Daxter's OST lives rent free in my head to this day, so probably. I went back and played through the first some time while I was in college and was very surprised by how well the movement held up. I'd say the trilogy probably has some of the best platforming controls to date and I'm baffled as to how no one seems to have been able to replicate it since.

I enjoyed all 3 jak games, it was the first trilogy I ever played. I still remember watching cartoon network and they had a sweepstakes to win a ps2 and jak 1. When my brother eventually got us a ps2 I remember being blown away by how good jak and daxter played and looked, sandover village is still my go to comfy place.

I honestly don't like 2 and 3 that much. they're okay but i'd rather have few competent platformers than genre confused, and misguided attempts at PG13 version of GTA.

I prefer the first game too.
