Is RCT3 the absolute peak of tycoon-type games? Planet coaster feels like playing with playdough compared to this absolute gem of a game. The sound, the design. MWAH impeccable.

I could listen to "Summer Air" by the IMPECCABLE Alistair Lindsay on repeat forever. Pure kino

I prefer RCT2, but you're right that it's better than PC.

Breddy gud/10, big fan of theme parks with a monorail that can take you anywhere you want to go, the fact that you've got multiple interconnected monorails with shared stations makes it extra kino. That red and yellow double/duelling coaster in the top right looks fun.

I really wish that RCT3 had functional monorails, but apparently the guests simply treat it as a ride rather than transportation.

BasedCT3 somehow got the licensing for Hershey Park's Stormrunner coaster, which is what they're built from. Big launch and a short sweeping section back to base.

Might extend it tho

Yup, and it's like that in every park builder I'm pretty sure. It was the same in RCT2/1, and PC didn't fix it. I can't remember if Sim Coaster or Sim Theme Park had transports. I guess the devs think it'd be too much trouble to factor transport rides into guest pathfinding, or maybe they did and guests just don't use them enough in their pathfinding for them to ever make money. idk, I still hold out hope that this problem will be solved someday though.
>Stormrunner
What do the trains look like for that one again? I think I vaguely remember this. Vertical launch is always cool.
Also holy shit the helixes on that black and white one lmao, absolute vomit comet. What's the nausea rating?

A fat medium 4.6 - no I dont know why.

It's a dad game that takes too long to edit terrain or place cosmetics.
"Buildings" are a gargantuan effort to piece together.
If I wanted a model set, I'd buy a table.

certainly better than Planet "Scenery Turboautism Simulator" Coaster that's for damn sure

terrain editing isnt all that bad... unfortunately you basically need to memorize all the weird quirks of how it works.

Creating buildings is literally the exact same way, Its fine if you can figure out the quirks, but it fights you either way. Still entertaining though

I liked Parkitect a lot when I played it, not as good as any of the RCT games though
