What's with all the people going on about the plot and characters of Resident Evil?Before like, last year, maybe two years ago, nobody cared about the story in the games, everyone knew it was dumb to care about it, because every game is dumb. It's all the same>characters go to a place for dumb reasons>they fight monsters and solve retarded puzzles>they find out that actually it was Umbrella behind everything and act surprised about it even after the 50th time this happens>game ends with everything explodingThere is no real story, it's just dumb nonsense, not to mention how the characters are one note at best.>Chris is hero guy>Jill is cop girl>Leon is silly guy>Wesker is evil guyetc etc etcSo, why are people pretending to think this is interesting or worth caring about?

RE story has been raped A to Z. From the very first game nothing made sense. Of course, these are some of my favorite games of all time. Every aspect of them besides the story is excellent. The writers clearly see it as glue to put together a product while the shit they cared about working on does what you came there for. But some but a type of foid will essentially see Leon as their waifu. And of course there's gotta be more to his personality than just dishing out quips. And the only way that could happen if there was substance to the plot for Leon to have context in. So now RE has a plot because they can't just look at Leon and masturbate. Some reason these types of people tend to like or have liked kpop music. I believe it must be the same mechanic. They think kpop twinks are sexy and different, can't just jerk it out, now they're listening to shitty music.

And this is JUST Chris and I'm heavily abrdiging most of this.Capcom then immediately raped his character into being a generic soldier guy for the rest of time thoughResident Evil was always a melodramatic soap opera with its revolving door of regular cast members. RE9 throwing most of it in the dumpster for cheap thrills and member berries obviously is going to upset people, especially if the gameplay - which is virtually non existent btw - doesn't make up for it.
