Yes, I would love more games set in Egypt or Greece and such, and compared to Modern day, WW2, Medieval Europe, Feudal Japan etc sure, they're less frequently used as historical settings, but after those Egypt is like the very next tier down in terms of commonly used historical settings and certainly least for influential themes for specific levels or fantasy factions in vidya, where almost any platformer or fantasy universe has a vaguely Egyptian themed desert level/civilization If you wanna talk about actual obscure shit, then ask why we don't have games in Ancient Mesopotamia, Ancient or Medieval India, Southeast Asia, Africa (which is even a whole continent, not just a region like these other examples) Mesoamerica, the Andes, and other parts of the Precolumbian Americas and islander cultures like the Polynesians, Hawaiians, etc
