>>738954303Not all of them become Pokemon trainers. For some it is more of hobby, or a summer activity. There are only some who do it on a "professional" level. Gym leaders, the Elite 4, those types. That is why a lot of the trainers have a hobby or occupation attached to their name, they aren't primarily Pokemon trainers. They have Pokemon to help them, give them companionship, and provide protection.
