>give you cool as fuck mantis robot cutting arms with sick executions>you are heavily incentivized to go non-lethal for additional rewards + a good ending I know its an immersive sim but this pisses me off, its easy to knock people out, but I wanna actually use the cool blades, I don't like the "pacifist ending being good" trope
>>738955687>I don't like the "pacifist ending being good" tropeit's been a while since I played but I don't think going pacifist or not has any bearing on the ending.and as you said, it's an imsim, so the game isn't going to be particularly difficult since it needs to cater to most playstyles. the bonus rewards from going non-lethal doesn't mean much if you can beat the game by just sneaking past or throwing crates at every enemy
>>738955827desu its more noticeable in deus ex 1I remember in that game, there was both a good ending but also the rewards were actually noteworthy for going pacifist and knocking outMGS 5 too? I thinkhaven't played that game in a decade
>>738955687The ending is pressing one of 3 buttons if you kill or dont kill anyone doesnt matter what are you talking about retard
>>738955827>>738955910oh yeahits worst of all in dishonoredwhere everyone hates u and the world becomes a survival horror shithole if u go lethalzzz
>>738955918the ending monologue debrief thing is different depending on whether u go pacifist or not though
>>738955996>I killed everyone and now the game rewards me with more and better armed enemies to kill?! WTF THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENINGstick to zelda kid
>>738955687>heavily incentivizedNot really, I never did it and I beat the game 10 times. What's the incentive? Augments? You get free ones all over Detroit.
>>738958695You get a lot more xp. When you know the game inside out it doesn't matter, you can still get pretty much all augs while going lethal. It only really sucks for a first playthrough. They changed that in MD. Going lethal on the gold masks in the alps factory is great
>>738955996you can kill people and get the good ending just fine, your problem is that you want the good ending when you went on a massive warpath and slaughtered everyone you came across and likely also did side objectives that also crank the chaos up.
>give you cool as fuck mantis robot cutting arms with sick executionsHe literally never asked for them.
>>738955687>get cool as fuck bladearms>never get to use them manually everstill pissed about the fucking takedown shit and the battery meter. imagine if JC had to eat fucking onions food every time he swung the baton or dragon's tooth.
>>738955687The punches feel much better than the blade executions though
>>738959459disagreed, you just can't beat blade arms
>>738959379You can fire them from jensen's arms in md
>not playing RPGs contextuallyFull-blown lethal or non-lethal is boring and ultimately unbalanced one way or the other. Immersing yourself in the world and making real decisions about when lethal force is necessary and feeling hesitation to murder current enemies because there is some doubt in your mind about their circumstances/loyalty.People out here thinken you can only Roleplay if the game gives you a dialogue option. Ya'll ain't gonna make it.
>>738959573which is nice, but I want to swing them at people. We get some of the coolest melee weapons in the franchise, and no melee builds. Cyberpunk understands the allure of robotic arm based weaponry and has a decent selection for you to choose from to fight in melee with, Deus ex neglects this entirely.
>>738959243I tried a "kill females only" run and it was enough to get the high chaos ending. (Fucking witches)
THE YEAR IS 2027
THE FUCKINGFRUIT FLIES
>>738959276This game was so basedKilling augs who protest saying "this should be your fight as well, brother"It's like mexicans joining ICE. I respect it, honestly. Fuck criminals, kill all criminals
BREAKING NEWS: POLICE ARE FIRING ON THE CROWDS OF DETROIT
>>738959635yeah I went non lethal until I had to infiltrate a police station #acab
