What is the best weapon re4 combo? I'll go first, LE 5 and Broken Butterfly.

The original Handgun you start with is literally the best handgun, as its stats are barely worse and you get its exclusive upgrade late in the castle which is 5x crit chance on headshot

The original shotgun is also arguably the best, as it is very similar to the riot gun in almost every way, but gets an exclusive upgrade early which removes range falloff. The Striker 7 is garbage

The original rifle is only better in versions after the Gamecube, as it is significantly stronger per shot with the exclusive upgrade, but I just like bolt-action classic rifles better.

The Broken Butterfly is again better than the Killer 7, as it is significantly stronger per-shot, gets upgrades earlier, and the reloading doesn't matter.
