Ai coded minigame
I don't buy or play games astroturfed by people like keighley
>>738972794I remember thinking it was horse shit, but I was stubborn and eventually it just clicked. It's not the worst RPG minigame I've played. You can't get worse than gambling minigames.
>>738972794I thought I was going to have some trouble with the last part, until I realized you don't really need worry about lining up the character with the things he lobs at you. the attack will bounce it back so long as you're not standing on the opposite end he throws it at.
nobody here played this movie
>>738972794based frog
why are retards so mad about this game
>>738973743mad that it took GOTY away from their AAA goyslop or indie scrimblo about depression
Retards that don't buy this movie are brown
>>738972794I think the jumping tower one took me like an hour and a half. I was juggling entertaining my son and it trying to get it done. That's about it. It wasn't that bad.
It's not hard, it's just tedious since the controls fight you. Moving the character has that "cinematic/realistic" turn to them, where your character doesn't immediately snap to a direction and instead will do a proper turn or at the very least be a slightly different angle than where you meant for them to point. Not only that, the attack you use to hit targets is basically an explosion of particle effects in from of your character's hand. It's genuinely hard to always gauge how far out it reaches, to the point I missed a fair number of enemies throughout the game since I misread the distance. Combine all of that with an awkward angle to the camera, the actual "volleyballs" going at a weird arc while being brown and blending in with the raft, and it just becomes a mess.I got it after a while, but it mainly gave me issue because of readability and the way the characters turn/control. I think the real problem is that it's just not particularly fun. I unironically enjoyed the tower climb, the obstacle course, the race, and pretty much all of the others. The volleyball one just kind sucked.
running out of stuff to talk about huh?

That's why they fight so hard against this and Asian games on 4chan.
>>738974413replied to everyone without reading award
>>738974413This. AI is a lot more talented than AAA and indie studios
>>738974640keep saying it
>>738972794I used to make flash games with global scoreboards. I would consistently have the highest score (my most popular topped out at 350000 submitted scores). I'm far enough removed to admit it was bad game design. I tweaked things so exactly to my taste/reaction speed, and failed to convey the subtleties to the players.
>>738972794Beaches and shores are my number one gripe.
>>738972794i did quit after beating the volleyball game for some reason. i guess i was mad the swimsuit wasn't that hot. oh well.

AI mindbroke /v/
>>738985416it mindbroke retards, so yes
The minigame is pretty easy, IIRC the main thing is to notice the three different boards and you have to aim in that direction, rather than at the gestrals themselves
