>That specific vibe of Star Wars games from the Gen 5 and Gen 6 era, before Episode III came outSo many good games. >Rogue Squadron>Racer>Phantom Menace (the adventure game)>Battle for Naboo>Jedi Power Battles>Galactic Battlegrounds>Obi-Wan (the XBOX exclusive)>Rogue Leader>Starfighter>Super Bombad Racing>Bounty Hunter>Jedi Outcast>Jedi Starfighter>Racer Revenge>The Clone Wars>Star Wars Galaxies>Jedi Academy>Knights of the Old Republic>Star Wars Battlefront>Knights of the Old Republic II>Lego Star Wars (the original Prequel-only version)>Republic CommandoThere was this specific feeling before Episode III, of Star Wars being this awesome interconnected universe, where every game felt like a window into that world, and Star Wars still felt fun and optimistic
Don't get me wrong, Episode III is amazing, but being such a personal drama about Anakin's final downfall limited the focus of the games that were made for it, and thing shifted in Star Wars towards slightly more grimdark and edgy stuff

>>738974709i do miss the glory days of Star Wars games. Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor are great, but that's about it, and those games kinda lose something in my opinion by being set after the original trilogy instead of somewhere like the Old Republic. i know The Old Republic gets sucked off a lot, but when i played Jedi Survivor my number one complaint was that i wanted to fight more Sith and Dark Jedi. and one of the Old Republic's biggest strengths is how many Jedi and Sith were actively roaming the galaxy at once.
