Should there have been a third ending or something? It doesn't feel right to put my immediate trust into a bunch of ugly, smelly, hook-nosed serpents who eat garbage and give off unsettling, evil vibes whenever you talk to them.
Third ending is just not completing the game, essentially living in a hellscape.
The point was that neither choice was good. Because the original intention was that these serpent dickheads just made everything a cycle anyway.But then they scrapped that. And the serpents don't matter anymore, there's just the cycle and then the world ends.
