If a game gets a 10/10, you've then got to weigh up>Do they put themselves in the crosshairs of online trigger-happy retards by NOT reviewing this highly? (Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3, Silksong)>Did the reviewer get some ludicrously extravagant press kit or all-expenses tour of an office or area? (Anything from Atlus or Capcom)>Did the reviewer get his dick sucked by a dev or are they after Internet Good Boy Points? (Mixtape)>Or is it genuinely a good game (Good games DO, on average, get high scores)And then there's the other side of the spectrum where a game gets a bad review>Did the dev snub the reviewer / the industry at large?>Does it give them Internet Good Boy Points to review this poorly?>Does it give them massive fucking clickbait views on their site by reviewing a 9/10 as a 7/10?Just don't follow mainstream gaming outlets.
