That being said, their biggest blunder is thinking they have any claim to any of their former territories after their entire race dropped from billions of individuals to thousands. I don't really feel bad for any uppity Eldar that tries to step up to the planetary guard of a former maiden world and gets swiss cheesed for their arrogance, but I don't think it's hard to grasp where the racism comes from.
