Playing RDR 1 after 2 is so refreshing. Controls feel tight and responsive unlike in 2 where Orthor moves like he is in molasses. Not any that selective realism either. You can carry 20 buffalo pelts if you want.

Going back to it now, the open world isn't very good, the gunplay is weird with slow-moving bullets and tracer effects and the pacing of the story is really strange, you spend 95% of the game looking for Bill and then you suddenly get Bill, Javier and Dutch all at around the same time. I forgot how Dutch is barely in the game at all, he's in 2 or 3 cutscenes total and then he dies.It's fun though when you get used to the combat, and the dialogue is well written and it does have more of a classic western feel to it than 2
