>>739009393I don't actually know either, but about those vns I read. I think higurashi gets too childish and anime at times, while fata morgana's writing can be too serious and dry. Umineko has a good balance despite having a lot of the same flaws from higurashi, like scenes going for way too long and a lot of repetition. I guess I want something that is more or less in that balance, of not being too dry or childish. I also have a preference for cool, serious, crazy or outright evil heroines, I prefer anything over the usual "uguu kawaii" moe blobs.
