I played nearly all these games in highschool in 2016
are /v/ kikellennials just that disingenuous?
>>

I wipe my ass with Baldur's gate. does not belong on that list among those greats.
>>
>>738989819
I have played 4 on that list. Fuck i am getting old
>>
I'm 39 and only played Morrowind and Ultima (for SMS lmao)
>>

I'm 30 and I've only played Deus Ex and FO1, and the only other game on that list I intend to play is VTMB. Maybe FO2 and BG someday.
>>
>>738989819
Yeah but you're a freak and aren't representative of your generation.

online inter-generational combativeness is beginning to bore me

Jeez. Again Morrowind and Fallout 1-2 are easily skippable. Deus Ex and Vampire are pure kino.
>>
>>738989819
I've played two (DX and Vampire) and have negative interest in the rest.
>>
>>738989819
what a boring post. don't you feel bad for making such a boring post?
>>
>>738989819
I tried playing Deus Ex but it was sooooo outdated. Jank doesn't even begin to describe it, this was something completely different. Literally couldn't figure out the controls.
>>
>>738989819

even as a pcnigger I refuse to play any of that shit

You are not the average. Nobody is.

Are you the average zoomer though? Judging by social media presence they all do drugs eat hot chip and get to some questionable islands

>any ultima
no, I don't like the graphics style, weird as fuck to look at, and not in a good way
>morrowind
got lost in the world and made mods for it, 10/10
>fallout 1+2
finished 1, was great, dropped 2 because the story didn't click with me as much as 1
>deus ex
I love it for the gameplay first, and story second
>heroes 3
extremely boring concept. once you understand the gameplay loop, there is not much tactic to this game, just blob up and overrun every time.
>bg 1+2
1 never did it for me personally, but 2 is probably the great party-based rpg ever made
>vampire bloodlines
same as deux ex. games were I can sneak around and explore cool locations just do something to me.
>arcanum
never tried it because everyone says its buggy as fuck
>planescape torment
I played it once, I knew about the big question because of memes, and I still sat there forever when it happened, unable to decide. my choice didn't even matter. I learned something about myself that day.

Generations are determined not by the date of birth, but by the social conditions in which a given individual was rised in
The key difference between "millenials" and "zoomers" is that the former met the advent of the digital age at a conscious age and have experienced the world before the mass spread of the Intenet, while the latter didn't
In first world countries, Generation Z has already began emerging in late 90s, while brazilian favelas and russian panelkas continued to breed millenials until mid-00s

tbf 9/11 and the rise in school shootings, and the resultant paranioa and security state, also very strongly contributed to the different social conditions Gen Z grew up in compared to Gen Y.
The massive drop in crime that began in the mid-90s probably contributed too, but the aforementioned paranoia meant it didn't change the ambient social temperature nearly as much.

I didn't play any of these until like 5 years ago and I'm 32. PC gaming is a bit impenetrable until you're enough of a functional adult to be able to afford and set up a decent rig. Yeah, even toaster laptops can sometimes run those games, but not without some issues
>>
>>738989819
Of these only Morrowind and Heroes 3 was good
>>
>>738989819
This board would instantly improve by 1000% if you were permanently banned. I also genuinely believe not a single one of these games is worth playing and they are something lazy and broken adults try to trick confused teens into playing
>>
>>738989819
You played them because millenials recommended them to you.
>>
>>738989819
>Morrwind
>Fallout and Fallout 2

That is what I played on this list. I really should play Deus Ex for sure. You can miss me with Ultima I have no interest in that old archaic shit. Baldur's Gate might be an interesting play since that was Bioware when people said they were still good. I am not familiar with Heroes III might have to look up a video again in case I forgot. As for the other three games on the bottom Planescape would probably be what most interests me considering how much y'all niggas be glazing that game. So it better be that fucking good.

Looks like a solid list overall though from all the threads I see praising these games with the exception of Ultima. I seriously wonder if most anons even that are millennial or gen x would care for that shit or played. That shit looks prehistoric even back in the 90's.

But these games only run good on toasters which running Windows XP. The most hardware demanding one is VMB with mods, and you can run it smoothly with 1G display mem.
