>£500 "gaming" monitor dies after 2 years
>replace it with a £90 monitor
>picture quality is identitcal
How long have those fuckers been scamming me?
>>
>>738991716
gaming monitors aren't about the picture quality, its about the refresh rate and latency.
>>
honestly I cant wait for my 1440p monitor to die so I have a reason to go back to based 1080p
>>
you spent 590 so you ended up with a better product at the end
>>
>>738991716
I got a brutal redpill about so called “luxury” good when I bought a luxury watch

10k down the drain for a watch that breaks constantly from literally just being worn meanwhile my 2k Seiko has been dropped from a moving car and still works and looks just as good honestly.
>>
>>738991887
>gaming monitors aren't about the picture quality, its about the refresh rate and latency.
Not even. They are about RGB LEDs on the back and shit like built in crosshairs.
>>

But you made some jew very happy

It seems to me like monitors have gotten pretty cheap

True, I have a 15yo casio frogman I got for my birthday from my grandpa I wear all the time, but it’s not very “stylish”

I regret buying Swiss at all, unless you’re buying a retro Rolex you’re going to get fucked quality wise.
Might as well just buy a cheaper Japanese or german watch for something stylish

Brand new lcd is on par with a 50€ used display from ebay.

I got an OLED made by LG a few weeks ago and that bitch is badass. 480hz and the picture and gameplay in motion look great. There's zero ghosting on this shit.

This. All I want is a fucking normal looking monitors with a fast refresh rate and low response time without any of the gaymer shit. Dell made some a while back (which I have), but it seems impossible to get a gaming monitor that doesn't look like a gaming monitor.
Now they're pushing "AI Game helpers" in monitors, like isn't that literally just a built in cheat?
>>
>>738994437
Shit. What are you banging? Titanic survivors? Stop wasting your money on expensive watches. Most women don't know shit about watches. Just buy ones that look expensive.

Monitors (and especially tvs) get exponentially better with time. TVs in the early 2000s used to be the price of a car and now 60" QLED or whatever ones are what 200-300?
>>
>>738995135
>TVs in the early 2000s used to be the price of a car
This. I remember my parents buying a 26" Sony for something like $2000 back in the early 90s. We used that TV until the HDTV switchover forced us to buy a new one in 2009. TV repair man used to be an actual job. All you did was fix TVs. Now when a TV has a problem like a dead capacitor, people just go and buy a new one for $200.
>>
>>738994951
Yea i’m blackpilled on watches now, just want something that looks decent and I don’t have to pay out the ass to repair every 6 months

This is outlandish to me. Do people really care that much about watches? Why would you even consider dating a person that cares about something so vain and stupid anyway?

A watch is the only acceptable piece of jewelry for a man to wear and people who don't make an effort on their appearance aren't worth dating because they're likely lazy and unambitious.

>£500
Did you fall for the 1440p meme or worse 4k?
>>
>>738996761
I prefer to make an effort in my appearance by hitting the gym and filling up my frame instead. Makes you look good no matter what you're wearing. Much cheaper too.
>>
>>738996761
I can't tell if you are honestly brainwashed goyim, or a jew right now, rubbing your hands.

In one case it's pathetic and in the other it's deplorable how far you will lie.
>>
>>738996982
>Much cheaper too.
As if. The extra amount you have to eat in order to bulk up and the cost of a gym membership for a month is more than my entire outfit including my "expensive" watch.
I will be granted entry to the country club, you will be turned away at the door for not wearing a collar.
>>
>>738997103
Total kike death
>>
>>738997103
To be fair, it's true. But it's also true that after you bust your ass for a few years, maintaining is super simple. And even on your country club you'll be mogged by that one guy who is way more fit than you and has a watch just as expensive. Your perceived value plummets at that point.

Probably memeing and has no idea how the world works, but good luck dating any girl you find in a country club. Unless you're absolutely fucking loaded it's a miserable experience and they'll bankrupt you in a year. Too high maintenance.

Bitches that care about shit like luxury clothing, cars and expensive watches are not worth the effort. Even if you have money they'll probably just divorce eventually and take half of your shit away.
>>
>>738991716
You should never buy something that has affixes like gaming, bio, raw, homemade...it's just marketing scam.
>>
>>738997537
yeah my dad was working in oil before his retirement so I've known country clubs pretty much all my life and the "dateable" women are 90% lazy vapid fucking industrial/services heiresses and 10% escorts, not even joking. Found my wife at Uni and girls there were 2000% more interresting and less plastic.
>>
>>738994951
Having a watch at all in 2026 is basically money to burn because normies all just use their phone to tell time.
>>
>>738996472
I've never been able to buy a wool suit jacket for $200 or less. Do you only shop at second hand stores?
>>
>>738998292
Almost every normalfag I know has a watch, an Apple Watch and they're more than 10x the price of my Seiko and yet they don't turn heads or get anybody's attention.
>>
>>738998412
>normalfags blow $500 on a new smartwatch every 2 years to go with their new $2000 phone
>make fun of people who spend $2000 on a watch that will not only still function in 50 years, but will have appreciated in value
>>
>>738997806
Yes, vain, spoiled women are the worst type of people you can probably have any kind of relationship with. They have nothing to bring any meaning in their lives so they fill it with mindless consumerism. If they're not buying something or being taken somewhere expensive to take pictures on their latest model Pro iPhone to fill their vain instagram profile they go literally insane. They're empty husks with a pretty exterior.
>>
>>738998806
no, both people buying $500 smarwatches and $2000 "luxury" watches are fucking retarded niggers. The only acceptable outcome in wasting money on such a useless item as a watch nowadays is if you are an actual billionaire, because these fucks have so much money it outweighs their retardation at whatever level.
Hope that clears it for (You)

My twin Dell IPS monitors have been kicking ass at 144hz for a decade now. They'll get my money for this OLED shit when they actually make it worth the upgrade (and when I don't need DLSS shit to play on ultra).

What screens? Didn't even know high refresh rate IPS monitors existed that long ago. I've got 144hz Dell monitors from 2016, but they're TNs, definitely would've bought IPS had I known they existed.

Mid range is the most popular range for a reason. High end is reserved either for people who have too much money, and want shit to work or for show, or for people who want to spend 300% more for something that is 10% better.

Good quality high refresh rate 1440p displays are cheap these days and even top grade displays suffer from the same issues as cheap ones - IPS have bad backlight and contrast, VAs are sluggish (and majority of them have VRR flickering issues) and OLED degrades, no matter how much you spend.

>>738991716
LCDs are old technology and in some capacity, big companies are selling off their LCD related factories to the Chinese. So unless it's mini LED, it should be really cheap.
LG is now mainly about OLED.
Samsung moves towards micro RGB.
Sony is doing True RGB, which is still really fancy LCD, while their TV business is 51% owned by TCL.
>>
>>738996761
You could have gotten quality pussy for so much cheaper.
But if we're being honest you only give a shit about the watch because the person you want to fuck the most is yourself.

>$50 automatic
I don't think that's going to be very good
But for watches you have trash then very quickly get to like 99% of the way with
like $100, anything between $150 and $2k is a scam then above that is just investments / money laundering
>>

It was $50 when I bought it, but today they go for around $400. Luxury watches are a lot like houses, they seldom become cheaper because people see them as an investment.

That's different. There is no such thing as a waste of money if it makes you more money. It's like how you're a total fag if you buy a $70k truck to go grocery shopping, but if you use it to haul stuff to the job site every day, it's a worthwhile and sensible purchase.

When I worked at a bank after college I had to buy my own clothing, and the dress code was that I had to wear a well-fitted black suit and have a decent analog watch. It was part of the "brand image".
Many guys you see out there rocking $2000 watches and $1500 suits are likely in the same type of business, anything finance related or an executive/political position basically requires it.
>>
>>738992575
Luxury used to mean expensive and high quality. Now it just means subscription services for idiots with more money than sense. That's true for expensive vehicles and everything else as well. You buy them to brag how much money you can lose and still not care about, because you have so much of it. There's no other reason to buy this overpriced garbage except to get attention from whores and criminal networks.
>>
>>739006397
>That's true for expensive vehicles and everything else as well.
This. I couldn't believe it when my sister in law said her brand new $90k Tesla required a subscription in order to remote start it and even to use the full power of the battery in the car.
Meanwhile my $22k hybrid Honda has a fucking button on the key fob to remote start it and a sport mode switch to enable full power from the battery. No subscription, no Internet connectivity to take it away with OTA updates.
There really is such a thing as more money than sense, yet somehow so many get lucky and get insane amounts of money in the first place.
