These games are crap if you're not a kid anymore.
>>739003076Fuck off Jak 2 has hoverboarding and shit
>>739003076Jak 2 is still great, and the Ratchets were also fun to revisit. Sly... I only replay the first one. The other ones are good but their complete stone-face-serious storytelling was indeed only great when I was a child. They're not revelatory or amazing as an adult, but there's nothing wrong with them per se. It honestly feels like Assassin's Creed for Kids. Worth experiencing if you just need a franchise you haven't tried where there's a cast of characters, with a protagonist, who go through an arc that feels complete by the end. But I honestly wouldn't recommend it to fellow uncs if you're as old as me (over 30)The only retro games worth revisiting are the ones you have personal nostalgia for, or more mature franchises that you missed as a child. I'm going over Parasite Eve for example. Didn't even know those existed as a kid.
>>739003076Basically every single one of these games shit on modern AAA slop and have true soul. You can go fuck yourself.
I replayed the ratchet & clank games last year, they hold up
>>739003076The Sly games are awesome THOUGH
>>739004828>their complete stone-face-serious storytellingwhat? it's campy and comic book-esque
>>739003076ratchet deadlocked fresh save on the highest difficulty is the best one here
Jak 2 sucked ass. DSP was unironically right.
>>739003076>these games were always shit, you were just a retarded child.FTFY.This shit all came out when I was in high school. I already had mascot/collectathon/platformer fatigue.
>>739005501go to bed grandpa
>>739003076The Jak games were all good although I haven't had any urge to revisit them. That is the only series in this pic I got into. The others seem good to me though. If I had the time and desire I'd play all of these games.
