Been on this shithole of a site for 20 years, and the last 5 years or so the entire site has taken a gigantic nosedive in terms of quality across all boards. The COVID pandemic tourists + third worlders + bots/AI + zoomers + schizos have done irreparable damage to this place.It is barely possible to have genuine discussions about anything anymore. You need to be lucky enough that a thread doesn't get invaded by any of the following things I mentioned above, which is nearly impossible. All boards are so slow these days that just 2-3 people can completely derail a thread. The removal of the IP counter was pretty much the last nail in the coffin for this site.
