So, I just beat this game making heavy use of* Savestates* Fast Forward* Rewind* Retro AchievementsFirst of all I want to thank god for inventing savestates. Couldn't imagine having to replay entire sections because I wasn't careful enough in a single battle. Second of all, thank god for inventing Fast Forward, couldn't imagine having to sit through every random encounter in normal speed.Game was piss easy. I have no idea what the best materia combos are. I beat the entire game with the following setup and died maybe 3 times because of fast forwarding battles.* Barrett as a tank with Cover+Counter* Tifa as a healslut with some other random support materia* Cloud dealt damage with materia (all+lightning for most of the game, later ultima)All in all pretty good game. Considering this released on the PS1 I can imagine how mindblown children must've been at the time. Game still holds up today.Finally,Fuck Chocobo racesFuck The Flying Saucer in generalFuck the beginning to mid point of the 2nd disc (pointless filler)And, most of all,Fuck you faggots for spoiling me about AerisAs a final note,Think about, just for a moment if you will, how sweaty the sex was in this scene (and the whole crew was watching them).
>>739008356Actually based post. Old games were extremely padded out, but nobody complained because there was nothing else to do back in boomer times. A fast forward button is the only way to make them bearable these days.
This is why most anti cheat games have 2% completion achievements, you can't cheat the game.
