Star Wars games used to be epics like KotOR, Jedi Academy, Empire at War, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, and cancelled titles that seemed to be soulful like 1313.

Now other than Jedi:Fallen Order all Star Wars games seem to be cashgrab schemes like Squadrons, seemingly designed deliberately as flashes in the pans.

Well Star Wars as a whole suffers from that problem now. There has been so much content that you either do something big and epic, and then it just feels like power creep that overshadows the originals, or you do something smaller and then it just feels like filler. Andor nailed doing something a bit smaller, but that took a really good writer to pull that off.
