Blackwell runs fine if you undervolt. More efficient than a 4090 at their sweet spots.

I've had my 5090 for a year now undervolted to 450w. I pull the connector out and check it maybe once a month and its still fine.

Don't dick around with the connector, you are statistically guaranteed to fuck one of the pins if you do it all the time.
