If you mean gamma, a bit but less than a lot of people say imo. Like there's way fewer enemies and combat often takes place at longer distances, there's almost no friendly npcs to interact with other than shopkeepers, it's an extraction shooter so you can't savescum the same difficult encounter over and over, death has more consequences, the world is more arcadey in the sense that it basically resets whenever you go through a loading zone, etc.

Haven't had that problem, although npcs can spot you from a really far distance and I often can't figure out where they are. Mainly an issue during the day because you can't see their muzzle flashes well. I got headshotted once, but it wasn't an instant kill, instead the game gives you a headshotted status effect that rapidly drains your health (on top of the health that the bullet takes away) and I did end up dying from that, but I've heard some manage to heal themselves enough to make it home and dump their stuff before they die. Some top tier medkits an cure it also.
