I guess it just didn't click for me even though my friend was having the time of his life just going around, catching pokemon, battling gym leaders, and crafting shit to get legendaries.I think if you could have your pokemon out, have them help with the crafting exploring and battling and other world activities, and see npcs around the world doing the same, it might have worked better for me.I just never really managed to get into minecraft, so there's that too.Kudos to the people working on it though, they but a fuckton of work on that thing.

I clearly remember that you can use them as transport even without other mods, and there’s a sub-mod that adds various effects to them, which you can use for automation, like farming and the like.

The songs and the concert were the good part of the project.However flygon still wins by never having one of those piece of shit ZA megas stapled onto it. The only ones that had good megas were pokemon that were basically incomplete designs in the furst place (chesnaught and baxcalibur mainly). Some others were decent but the ratio leans towards "oh god why"

>>739024264>I need at least some basic structurI think that's a big part of it.The mod does have something resembling structure in that you have a list of things you have to do before you can do other things, but it's all just kind of loose, or at least that's how it felt to me.For example, palworld doesn't have a story (yet?), but the world design and the mechanics funnel you towards some very specific and clear things early on (before the game opens up with flying and swimming), even before they added actual tutorials and the like.It also helps that there are npcs here and there that belong to the world as it was made and tell you things about it that also tell you what to do next (go make a bench, go to that tower in the distance, etc).Which is not to discredit the mod, or minecraft. It's amazing, just not for me.
Anyone gonna be playing on the cobblemon /vp/ server? It's starting in exactly 1 week and been running yearly for at least a decade.
