This one scene https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fK2zojTbtO4 is what kind of formed my opinion on the tone of the game. Then the "time to split joke" is just cringe. Looking back at it, it isn't that bad, but it sticks out like a sore thumb. It is just the campy tone is much lamer from T2 more serious approach. Not to say T2 didn't have its smut too with some of the character models. As for T1 I can't say as I never played it.
