doesn’t run well on most PCs and motion controls are wonky which means it is not taken seriously in the fgc. I’ve seen a handful of events or tourneys run on steam decks; plays literally almost every game ever made and works with almost literally every controller slash arcade stick ever made. when the pc version patches out the ue5 jank and makes the motion controls actually work, the game will become a forever game

the game looks like ass, thats like the main issue. everything else could be fine but it looks like a bad mobile game from 2010 in both art direction and animation quality. MK games have more fluid animations.
the roster sucks, which is mostly due to the setting having barely anyone actually interesting in it since like 90% of characters are flying bricks. everyone looks the fucking same, everyone fights the fucking same. you can compare it to DBZ with 20 gokus and you would be medically qualified for a disability check for doing so since goku at least has 20 different forms and 100 attacks to make him actually functionally move and operate differently from one another while every viltrumite is omniman but based on a different celebrity like freddy mercury or ya nigga steve harvey
third, nobody cares about the characters. people jerk them off in powerlevel discussions but nobody actually gives a fuck since most of them are fight fodder designed to be gored in an instant to show how edgy and brutal the setting is. nobody is going to passionately main any of them, someone with a omni culo profile pic might play the game for a week and exclusively crouch but nobody is a ride or die for these boring chucklefucks
finally, the few retards that are fans of the show have all already been completely fucking filtered out by the beta as tards like jwong were going full force beating the absolute fuck out of people that've likely never touched a fighting game before to the point people were ragequitting mid match. FGC fags are not and were never going to stick around, they showed up purely to beat the snot outta newbie shitters and they've done such so effectively that the game's only audience of fans of the shit cartoon don't want to play the fucking thing. this should've been a single player open world game where you fly around and beat people up but for some fucking reason they thought this could have been their breakout title for a genre almost impossible to get into
