I remember reading an article about how your more likely to get a virus from religious websites than porn sites or sites that host rom's
>>
>>739030617
But how do you know my torrents on that dodgy Russian site gave us all that malware?

My parents thought me using an ethernet cable from our modem to my Wii gave our pc a virus, but the actual reason was because my dad was a porn addict who kept browsing shady websites and he used me as a scapegoat.

As a teenager I once got a virus that popped up these retarded messages about how my pastor will find out about my porn habits. I'm European, we don't have some judgemental priest seething at us all and hoping to find porn on our computers. What the fuck, America.

My parents are boomers and knew what viruses were when I was a kid in the late nineties and early 2000s. They were constantly afraid of viruses because computers were so damn vulnerable back then.

Why are there so many stories about parents refusing to understand technology? It's like having kids flips some kind of switch in their head to be stubborn.

"VIRUSES could be here" he thought, "My son has never been on this website before. There could be viruses anywhere" The bud light can felt cool against his chest "I hate VIRUSES" he thought. The sounds of the superbowl reverberated his entire living room, making it pulsate as the shitty cheap beer circulated through his varicose veins and washed away his merited(?) fear of Super Mario ROMhacks on the interwebs. "With a wifi you can use your connection from anywhere in the world." he said to himself, out loud.

I fucked up our computer downloading Halo CEs demo that had malware in it. The second the demo ended the application closed and started flooding the screen with pop-ups.

my dad was disabled for like 20 years and housebound, never used the internet or played vidya. just tv all day. i think he hated nerdy shit on a fundamental level.
>>
>>739030835
Not knowing what a virus is just means they're more likely to think they have one.
>>
>>739030617
i remember my dad tried this when i was like 13 or so and i pointed out that paid software on a cd-rom that mom bought for me was probably not causing any issues. i think he tried to mention it once or twice more but since i was always the one who UNFUCKED the computer when it had issues even as early as like 10, he never got anywhere with it.

the only time i was ever actually the cause of a computer problem was on our backup computer when i fucked the audio trying to get it to work with one of my games, but i was the only one who suffered from that since i was the only one who used that machine.

>>
>I GOT AN EMAIL FROM THE INTERNET STOP PIRATING
>>
>>739031068
Because they had authority over children who grew up with that so of course you have stories of them being petty or dumb about it because that's what parents do.

Nobody cares about the time my father got one of his friends at his works to tell him how to get a game that wasn't sold anywhere on the stores before I knew what pirating was or how to do it.

To those of us in our late 20s to mid to late 30s, it's moreso that that period in time was a perfect storm.
Technology was progressing at a much faster rate, and the internet, arguably our biggest breakthrough as a species, was slowly becoming a mainstay in daily life.
For our booker parents, most technology from their generation was just "X, but better."
TVs but in color.
Refrigerators but they didn't suck.
Records but now they were compact and portable.
Even if it was "new" it was just a better version of things that came before.
Home PCs and the internet were a whole different ball game. It was too complex of a new trick for old dogs, especially if you were of a vocation or social class that didn't have much need for a computer outside of maybe someone like a secretary having one.
I dont think Home PCs became a 50% majority till like... 2006?
And by that time the train had sort of passed alot of our boomer parents.
>>
>>739030617
My dad was always like this. Used to even claim games would break the BIOS and he had to fix it.

I was a small child at the time and I blindly believed his claims until I bought my own computer and discovered games don't break shit. It was then I realized he was just lying because he didn't like us playing games on the family computer.
>>
>>739034612
this
Anons that weren't alive during that time period don't really understand just how fast tech improved in that decade span.
And even after they got established, things like the internet very quickly transformed into different beasts from the 90s to the 2000s.
>>

FeelsGoodMan. i'm almost 30 now btw
>>
>>739031281
ehehehehehe
>>
>>739034748
Yup!
And the thing is, for many of us from that period, it's a case that not only did this stuff exist and was stable enough to be understandable by an average person, but accessibility to have these things became commonplace for the average family, so we basically grew up learning this stuff.
Hell, I remember we had classes in elementary specifically for teaching you how to use a computer and the internet.
Nowadays kids can wiz around on tablets by the age of what, 4?

>Hell, I remember we had classes in elementary specifically for teaching you how to use a computer and the internet.
Very old man here.

In the mid 90s, when I was in highschool, we didn't have a class teaching us how to use a computer and the internet because it was taken as a given ever student already knew. What we had was a class on how to code in pascal. When I was in primary school again we didn't have a class on how to use computers because it was taken as a given. We had a class on how to "code" in logo.
>>
>>739034938
Those fucking classes taught you the most obnoxious way to type in order to not get carpal tunnel when I did it. It was essentially to hike your hands up really high while you type.
>>
>>739034612
Computers used to be extremely finicky and breakable. Imagine spending $4000 on some Pentium shitbox that hard freezes if you try to move the mouse and click at the same time, which causes the hard drive to crash when it's writing system files with no recovery options. Good luck trying to download a Windows ISO on your 15.6K modem that shits itself every 30 minutes, that is even if you happened to know what the fuck an ISO is when you barely comprehend the concept of an operating system. Back when you could freely delete system32 and people online would tell you it was a good idea, no wonder boomers were paranoid of kids breaking their shit.
>>
>>739034367
you don't even need to worry about viruses anymore If you use windows 11. it's the same as surrendering all of your infos to hackers and I'm not joking.

>>739035318

It's a largely boomer problem as they became egocentric avaricious cunts due to growing up in the greatest time of prosperity and social mobility since the black death. They lived life on super easy mode and because they were successfull if went straight to their heads. Combined with the anti-nuclear family propaganda and you get kids that should be seen, not heard, while you kick them to the curb at 18 and reverse mortage your home to go on a cruise.

I work in retail as a manager and like 99% of our repeat problem customers are boomers. And it's always over the most asinine shit possible. Like they THOUGHT they saw something was on sale, I go check it, it's not on sale, the thing that was on sale was on the other side of the fucking shelf, and they have the audacity to get mad at me personally and insult me for it.
>Well I found it there
>it's possible another customer may have put that item there sir, but it's not on sale, it was just misplaced.
>Well that's not my problem, it's supposed to be on sale
>no sir, that's an entirely different item
>well that's not my problem, you need to honor the sale

If they weren't such fucking faggots about it and just go "oh shit my bad, I misread it", I would have tossed a discount just to be nice if it's not a big one but they always act like such cunts that I only ever did something like that once or twice in my job.

We know boomers are dumb but did you ever have any dumb thoughts as a kid?

I remember I was so surprised seeing people host their own private servers 24/7 I thought these people were super rich. I was so used to the idea of sharing computers and shutting them down when not in use I couldn't fathom leaving a computer running for so long. In my head that was only something a big company could afford. In reality they probably just left a shitty dell running at home. Nowadays everyone uses a VPS so that hardly matters.
>>
>>739036313
>>well that's not my problem, you need to honor the sale
This is because of this retard meme about how stores legally have to honor labelled prices even if they're wrong. This is not true. Some entities have some form of this as store policy but it's not a legal requirement. Labelled pricing is legally considered merely an "invitation to treat" and not a sales contract and therefore there is no legal obligation to honor the labelled price. For the same reason the store can't compel the buyer to pay the higher price the buyer can't compel the seller to sell at the lower price.

No, dad, that's just Prototype.
>>
>>739036594

Our store actually has that policy when it comes to something like expired sales, so like if the people in charge of putting up/removing sales tags misses one, like a steak that was on a weekend sale for like 3 bucks, I can still honor it since it's treated as a "oh hey, thanks for catching that, our bad, we'll give you it for free/half off" Which I think is perfectly fair, everyone's happy, we clean up a mistake and customer is gets something for free/cheaper.
However it only applies if the sale matches the product, like grabbing a steak, putting it where the cheap rice is where it's on sale for like a dollar, doesn't make the steak one dollar. And yet I've had customers pull this shit and I have to muster my energy not to call them a retard.
I don't even think it's a scam or anything, I never see teenagers/regular adults do this, it's just boomers doing this shit.

>They genuinely believe they can get away with anything if they argue it hard enough to the right person
I get people with that mentality at work fairly regularly. Almost always boomers. Except I work for the government and they are not customers but tax payers. They think if they bitch and moan enough and demand to speak to my supervisor they're going to get away with not having to pay their taxes. Doesn't work that way at all. This is not a restaurant where the manager can comp your food for you. All my manager is going to say is "Taxes are required by law. You MUST pay." The younger ones tend to understand they're not supposed to be kicking up a stink and demanding to speak to my manager. They know they're supposed to be begging for the government not to do things like garnish their bank account and wages. Hell, if the boomers are really obnoxious about their bitching and moaning and complaining then they get blacklisted and all communication going forward has to be done by snail mail.

My parents never did this but a friend's parents thought I caused a virus on their computer because I introduced them to Runescape.

Said friend's older brother liked downloading porn and random files off of limewire on the family computer, I know this because he showed me.

My dad was up high in IT for a large oil company for a couple of decades. Tech companies were always sending them the latest tech shit to play with hoping they'll roll it out for the whole company. He was allowed to just keep a lot of this stuff for himself. So much tech gear was brought home but it was all largely useless because it was all bespoke stuff intended for business use only. This was a long time ago when there were still people competing with IBM/PC compatible that weren't called Apple. Still got a few free IBM PCs and apples out of it.

My stepdad god bless him kept trying to give me bullshit technobabble advice which I'm sure would have been handy if I was working on some government CCTV main computer from the 90s that he often has to fuck with because he's a faggot ATF fed.
He kept trying to repeat the same thing that really wasn't relevant to my SSD and I was pissing him off because 'I wasn't listening.'

I figured out it was because installing an M.2 drive disables some of your SATA ports and my ports were ordered in a way that it was disabling the SATA port my main SSD was on so it'd boot into a shitty harddrive that had a non-functional windows install I never bothered to clear out. It had literally nothing to do with what the fuck he was going on about.

The worst part is "the customer is always right" is an incomplete quote, it's meant ot be "the customer is always right IN MATTERS OF TASTE", meaning if someone wants to buy something that you as a salesperson think is ugly or gaudy, then it's not your place to try and "correct them" on it

If "the customer is always right" was a verbatim rule then it would be fucking chaos and capitalism would fail overnight as people would say "I don't have to pay for this" and just take the entire stock of a store for free

Going after the average person for some cash is like squeezing a fucking rock for some water while some soaking wet sponges sit in a pile nearby.

i actually found a solution that worked even on 70+ dinosaurs, you just firmly say that you don't understand how it works either, just refuse to acknowledge you can do it, they throw hands at first, then if they actually need it they begin to experiment after trying to trouble you with it couple more times, just remain firm and never help and say you just don't understand how it works

My boomer parents recounted stories of them and their friends siphoning gas out of people's gas tanks using a hose and sucking on it and getting mouthfuls of the leaded gasoline when it came up the hose.

This was a common thing boomers everywhere were doing when they were teenagers.

It's really not that unlikely, basically the same shit happened to me but it was Kazaa instead of Limewire, I think.
The second part about the nephew didn't happen to me but instead my niece drained like a couple hundred in a single night from my sister's bank account. Apparently she paid for a bunch of porn with some sort of pay-over-phone-contract scheme. But fortunately this never happened again after I told her that I know exactly what she paid for and what sites she visited and that I'd tell my sister if it'll happen a second time.

As for finding out, that's kinda easy when kids these days don't even bother deleting their browser history or turning on private mode.

Boomers got advice like "just be on time, never complain, do your job in silence and you'll be rewarded" and every single one of them won the lottery thanks to this advice, and the electric jew reinforces this idea that it's still the same. So when they see any young person struggling, they think you're genuinely as lazy as the worst junkies they saw when they were 20. The boomer's view of reality is based entirely on lies and things that died decades ago.

>>739047868
Yeah. But the TV and all of their friends which are all also boomers tell them the opposite of what you're saying, so they won't believe you. The only way for a boomer to realize what's going on is to be forced to look for another job, and that almost never happens, since they're all rich and retired and companies don't fire the old ones, they cycle through the young ones. Boomers were also turbo-rewarded for loyalty, if you started as a cashier, you were guaranteed to become a manager doing nothing with a huge salary if you stayed 10 years. Meanwhile you are forced to job-hop, and everyone is telling the boomer that you do this not because of inflation and because it's the only way to actually advance, but because you're a disloyal cheap whore.

Computers are way too essential today to be something of a "family computer"
Think of it like phones.
>wired phone on the desk or wall, anyone who is at home answers it
>mobile phone gets invented
>grown up men carriy mobile phones, shit is purely for business at first
>tech advances, becomes cheaper
>women get their own, start yapping to no end
>mothers inevitably want their children to be reachable, so children get phones now too
>now everyone except literal fossils have a phone

in same way it was with PC:s
>wired PC on the table in the living room or "dad's office"
>laptop gets invented
>grown up men carriy laptops, shit is purely for business at first
>tech advances, becomes cheaper and internet becomes faster
>little nerdy kids and gamers are enamored by it's potential for entertainment
>dad needs his PC for actual important shit, so he gets (or the children/teens save up) for PC just for themselves
>schools make IT classes
>fast forward 10-20 years and literally everyone needs a PC/smartphone for like 90% of modern day living
>>
>>739034367
Viruses in the past were obvious because they were made by enthusiasts/hobbyists that essentially just wanted to test their abilities by seeing if they could break security, as well as gain some form of notoriety by having their work spread as far as possible. That's why you had viruses that did funny things like took control of your mouse cursor, or created popups with music and images, or redirected you to some guy's fan page. That's why boomers in the past knew you had a virus, the virus made it obvious.

Viruses nowadays are profit driven. They're less about "damaging" a computer and more about stealing valuable information. That's why the most common viruses are infograbbers that steal session tokens allowing bad actors to access any accounts you're currently logged into, bypassing any kind of 2FA. The point of these viruses is the exact opposite of those from the past, they want to be as stealthy as possible to remain on a machine as long as possible in order to steal as much info as possible. Another kind of virus that wants to stay hidden are the crypto or botnet kind of viruses that want to use your computer's processing power without you realizing it. There's probably thousands of people infected with these kinds of viruses and they don't even know.

1. Being a good parent means being a good leader.
2. Most people are horrible leaders and will assume that anyone they have authority over is a pawn that they can lord over.
3. Parents have authority over kids and see them as dumb cretins that can never be better than them.
4. Kid, being a product of the times, learns something that the parent is incapable of grasping.
5. Parent will try to lord over their kid, and will do so by pointing at that which they don't understand.

In short: it's retards being retards and pulling their own kids down into the crab bucket.

Despite what most anons in this thread say, it's not just boomers. Most people are tech illiterate and don't actually own a PC in their home. They'll have a phone and maybe some shitty chrome book or user-friendly laptop. If you ask a 15 year old today to install a mod on PC using a file system, or "copy/paste, undo the paste, and cut/paste a paragraph and then find and highlight a single word with only the keyboard", they'll fail and not even try.

Playing devil's advocate a bit here, it can make the child feel more appreciated and like they're good at something, so I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, regardless of the motivations. My parents and especially my dad would almost always go to me for help with stuff, and possibly partially due to this, my brother kind of turned into the personification of learned helplessness. Now they have to pretend and ask him for help even when they might not really need it, just to shake him from his passivity and make him feel a bit better about himself.

Harsher punishments and greater / faster spreading awareness have pretty much pushed amateur & prankster malware out of the zeitgeist, meaning if you're going to do it these days you might as well be getting paid in some way. No more buttogeddon virus that replaces all windows SFX with fart noises and your cursor with a bare ass or whatever.

To this day, after 20 years, my mom still believes that the legal copy of Morrowind that she bought at a regular store in front of me, was "giving us viruses".
>I TOLD YOU TO DELETE THAT FUCKING MORROWING
Never did, btw.
I recently brought this game up in conversation while talking vidya with my nephew and she immediately turned her head toward me in anger, like "why would you recommend the game with viruses to my grandson". Just the word "morrowind" still pisses her off.

My brother used to accuse me of this when I would download demos and free games from a site called Pogo (A platform that's been owned by EA since 2001) because of the family computer performing terribly when the real reason was that they were always prebuilt pieces of shit you got for $600 at a Best Buy.

Turned out the real reason was because he was downloading random Runescape bots and thought blaming me would get him out of trouble. I never touched Runescape because it looked boring, so he couldn't pin that on me.

My dad was a huge macfag and ran a computer lab full of macs and was utterly convinced macs could never get viruses, but on windows you would get a virus within seconds of connecting to the internet so he only ever bought macs for the family and wouldn't allow me to get a PC because it was a "threat" to network security. Needless to say PC gaming was off the table for me.

People just don't like to intuit things. I remember when I first got a work machine for my current job, which is on an OS I've never used (Windows 11, I went from 7 straight to Arch nearly 20 years ago now) I was able to interact with and figure out how it works in 10 minutes, plus more specific non-OS systems for the job itself. Meanwhile my coworkers who were also receiving the same machines and mainly used Windows devices all their lives, both older and younger than me, had no idea what they were doing.

Lucky you, the only thing I did in my computer class was make post cards in Gimp and very basic coding in some educational program I can't remember the name of (VERY basic shit like rotate 90 right, go forward, rotate 90 left, go forward to make specific trails with the program's mascot). Thing had no safety measures so you could write a simple code like "go forward, change color", copypaste it 500 times and have the PC get stuck executing it for the next hour, which regularly lead to PCs getting force shutdown between classes because for some reason running the code turned off your mouse and the program wouldn't shut down with alt+f4. From the perspective of time, you could probably shut it down using task manager navigating it with keyboard after you set it to be always on top, but that was likely beyond the technical knowledge of our teachers

The most computer-related trouble I ever got into was over a "Good Guy Greg" meme that my parents found while going through the family computer's search history.
Since he's smoking a joint in the picture they immediately assumed that I was getting into drugs (despite being 10 or 11 at the time and not even knowing what a joint was) and I was essentially banned from using the computer or buying my own laptop until I moved out for college.
Thankfully they let me get an iPod Touch because they didn't realize it could connect to the internet and I was still relatively free to look at memes and jack off to trashy music videos

It's funny that people who identify themselves as "anti-progressive" are often blindly in favour of technological progress, even when it does more harm than good for humanity.
AIbros are like the boomers who defended leaded gasoline as their brain matter plummeted due to lead poisoning.
Is AI liked that much by the average consumer? Or is it just shoved in their face by an industry desperate to make their money back? The way it is shoehorned into everything when no one asked it, often to the detriment of the main product. Can you say with a straight face that Windows 11 is better off for using AI code?

You grew up during the internet age and don't understand how wrenching and bizarre it was for people who never had access to it before.
If you were born in the 60s or 70s, everything was done on paper, or with phone calls. Computers were just fancy calculators for a long while, and even though early computers existed they were niche, and the providence of hobbiest dorks, viewed the same way being really into HAM radio would still be today.
A lot of boomers and Gen X viewed technology as an annoying imposition that was fucking annoying and disruptive, the same way you probably feel being asked if you're asked to scan a code to access the menu at a restaurant: "This is fucking annoying and stupid."
Or how I get pissed off with how LLMs are being forced into everything now. I don't want to fucking use Microsoft Copilot. It pisses me off and I refuse to integrate it into my lifestyle.
My kids will eventually view my stubborn refusal to use this shit the same way I viewed my mom not being willing to use Email.
Have the humility to recognize it as a preference with somewhat valid reasons supporting it, rather than just assuming the zeitgeist you grew up in is the end-all be-all of human civilization. There ARE tradeoffs that come with technology, they're just not relevant to you because you grew up after you didn't have a choice or the opportunity to see the world in any other way.

All these replies when the truth is that our parents didnt need to get better at understanding computers. Most of our parents were still using old software from the late 80s and early 90s at work even by the time they retired. And although their computers at home probably got better, most computers are fairly user friendly and you dont need to know much do basic tasks like searching the web or writing something out on Word which is what boomers used the PC for at home 90% of the time. Even if the PC didnt run super well or had a ton of pop-ups it could still function well enough to do what they needed. They also had us to help them as we were naturally more tech savvy then they were so they didnt have to really learn the ins and outs of their PCs.

>Boomers don't even TRY to understand anything having to do with technology
they do to some extent, but the key point is that technology is smartphones which most boomers/gen x have and can use at least somewhat decently, even my luddite father who never used a computer my entire life switched to one and can use apps. but ironically enough this allowed said age groups to completely skip over learning anything more complex computer wise. like if I threw my father in front of a desktop he'd be downright hopeless

I think one time I saw my cousins history and it was a lot of monster girl hentai. Kind of based honestly.

You could just put a password in the bios and they'd never be able to use it regardless of any formatting.

There are businesses that still handle their computing needs with decades old XP machines. The secret that big tech doesn't want zoomers to know about is that as long as they don't need any updates, computers can just work forever.

This would be equivalent of manually grabbing your windshield wipers to wipe your windshield instead of just pressing the windshield button

I still have a flip-phone, I don't even have a smartphone. Life would be great if fucking grocery stores didn't require me to download an app to buy shit, or the fucking buses let me just use cash instead of an app to pay, or restaurants had actual goddamn physical menus instead of QR codes at every table. Not having access to a smartphone has made me understand the mindset of Uncle Ted far greater than actually reading his manifesto ever did. I mean, I'm also doing this by choice so it's really my fault in the first place, but I fucking hate smartphones so goddamn much.

Kids these days growing up with smartphones are fucked. Society relies way too much on tech now

This is the same for late zoomers and alphies. Can use a touch screen phone/tablet just fine, but if it has anything to do with the file system, even on their device, they get all doe eyed and think of it as some kind of magic.

There was a payment outage a few years ago in Canada that affected all debit and credit systems and it nearly ground the entire country to a halt. You couldn't even take out money from an ATM. If you didn't have physical cash on hand you literally couldn't buy anything or make any sort of transaction. It only lasted for just over an hour, but it showed how absolutely fucked we'd all be if these systems decide to fail one day.

Shitty softcore hentai porn from 2006. It's on a back-up hard-drive. For whatever reason the only files I ever backed up as a kid were porn, I just let everything else go, dunno why.

My aunt used to work at an airlines company 40 years ago. Last year there was a Microsoft update, or Crowdstrike update or something, and it fucked up all the airline's computers for a few days, and they couldn't access any of their servers or programs. We were trying to take a flight and my aunt was so fucking pissed at all the workers who didn't know how to do their jobs without a computer. She started yelling at them saying stuff like "Get they hell out from behind that desk, I can do your fucking job for you. You know how we ran the airlines 40 years ago? We got a pen and a pad and we wrote it down. How come you can't do that now? What's wrong with you?" goddamn was she brutal.

I don't know why computers are still pre-loaded with McAfee anti-virus these days. It does literally nothing
>>
>>739083719
She's right but also the systems are all connected to computers nowadays I doubt even if the employees knew how to do their jobs with pen and paper that they'd be able to safely get the planes running again.
>>
>watch videos
>"when performing maintenance on a PC unplug it and hold down the power button to discharge residual power"
>okay, sounds reasonable
>fastforward
>"discharging" irreparably broke 3 power supplies and fried a whole motherboard
>1 power supply audibly popped and exploded white powder onto the floor when turning it back on
>I still see modern videos telling people to discharge consoles/PCs when repairing and get pissed
Too retarded?

the exploit was called red sun I think, but basically windows defender would catch the malicious file before you actually ran it and quarantine it but by doing so it did some weird cloud shit where it basically ran itself through windows defender to get higher system access, there was a bunch of zero days that some security researcher dumped because microshit refused to do anything about them when they told them about the exploits
>>
>>739083825
McAfee is specifically for clueless boomers that would download "cutepuppy.jpg.exe" from some popup on their adware infested computer. It doesn't stop sophisticated attacks. Though even then Windows Defender is probably enough for those people.

I didn’t understand that 0-99 was the first century and thought humanity collectively agreed to call the current century the 21st because technology progressed faster than we anticipated so we had 21st century tech even though we were still in the 20th century (2000s)

I also thought BC meant before Christ’s birth and AD meant after death, and I wondered what we used for events that happened during the years he lived

the register at McSpankies is not just a calculator, it also logs historical receipts for being able to do accounting at the end of the day and it also is used to track inventory consumption.
so much of the modern workplace is tied into computers that most things genuinely cannot be done by hand the way they used to be. At best you'd have to key in information once systems are back online and that's assuming you have a smaller scale non-interlocked system like warehousing, rather than trying to coordinate a fuckton of planes.
your aunt is right about people needing to know how to do their jobs at a core level but some things you cannot realistically separate from the computer systems that everything runs on now.

"playing" is a gross overestimation, but, yes, I was. The mission was almost won and I just had to click some units to finish off the enemies base.

I remember destroying 2 computers because I had a porn addiction starting at age 11, because I knew how to get around parental controls

>Dad's at work, night shift
>Go onto his computer
>Jag off for hours and hours
>Looking for the right picture to nut to
>Click on one
>Computer is now infested with about 16 different adwares that prevent the keyboard or mouse from working
>Go to sleep in a panic
>Dad comes home the morning after
>Logs onto his computer
>"ANOOOON!!!!!"

The sounds of fury from my father echoed throughout the house. What's worse is that he thought I was into fart porn because a website called "Farthammer" was the only site that wasn't blocked where I can see tits and women getting fucked.
