WHERE THE FUCK ARE MY BRIGGERLOVERS
>>739031035What is it? An indie remake of cyndicate wars?
>>739031229A bit similar in gameplay, but it's mainly based off of the first game which itself wasn't based on syndicate I don't think
>two brigger threadsThis is getting out of hand
>>739031585I looked for another beefore I brigged, I will go look again and then say FUCK YOU
that loyalist tank is pretty cool, it's fast as fuck and can handle a bunch of heavy guns
>>739031585Didn't the other one bump limit? Its been extremely popular Also 50mm mortar fits on an upgunned van, which is a HUGE boon
>>739031229No but Syndicate Wars and Crusader are mentioned as inspirations.
How do I give myself the Arlo parts?I don't really know how to use the debug menu beyond loading levels.
>>739032353I meant two simultaneous ones. If you're talking over the past few days we've had like 3 or 4 hit the bump limit
>>739032668Link it if its still even up. I don't see it.>>739032603I think you can buy arlo from merchant, but it's pricey. A mongoose is more affordable, and tank treads for party van is even cheaper
Too much inventory tetris autism. I just want to shoot stuff like in the first game
>>739032936U blind niggy?>>739031015
I don't know if they'll be adding the whole arsenal from the first game, but I really want to use this thing in Killers.
Honestly, the Troubadour too. Treadbikes are gonna handle so funny.
over 9000 hours on my used spacer cyberdeck i bought off chobazon
>>739035086wow for some reason the colors went all fucky on .png, save this one instead if you like it
>>739033169No, i just don't like scrolling catalog >>739034617I hope they fix bikes, they spin out WAAAAY too easy
>>739033040there's no tetris you lying nigger. i unironically would prefer a tetris because it'd be simpler than whatever the fuck we have right now
>>739035574You cant figure out containers???
>>739035641Boxes, how do they work?
>>739035641no im talking about your inventory (bag) which isn't accessible when you're in your powersuit, whose inventory (medium crate) isn't accessible when it's in your truck. etc etcit's like that retarded bag stacking in tarkov, atleast they put a stop to that
>>739035969Ehh, kinda hard to reach a CRATE when you are driving dude
you can't eat chips while in the cinderblock 0/10
>>739037612Only corvid paint chips
>>739038389man this thing is kinda suckish, but it looks badass and feels fun to zoom around in
>>739038410it's classic Corvid mentality, hit fast and hard, then run.no time or weight capacity for armor.
>>739031035the gameplay is kinda boring or am I missing something?>go in>shoot some bullet sponge guys while you sponge bullets yourself>steal some garbage and leave>repeat
>>739038563Tell me you only played level 1 without telling me you only played level 1Later enemies have guns that will 1 shot you in power armor
>>739038563I'm liking the progression. Stole some cars, hoarded some ammo, now I have a panel van with a machinegun on top instead of using that ammo with a shitty obrez, a police car with a laser gun on it, and I'll probably build an apc next. The different suits have potential to be really fun but I think the carmine rig is the most versatile and useful out of all of them. the other 2 just aren't balanced as well imo.
>>739038640I played like 8.>>739038743trying to figure out what parts to steal feels like a slog...
>>739038772I just go around the maps getting as much crap as possible and then see what I can make. I just finished the police barricade map, doing all the maps in order from top down. I'm sure there's some rng involved with what the crates have idk. I'm not really paying attention to what parts Iget, I just try my best to fully clear maps and then get some extra ammo for whatever guns I get by replaying the super easy maps.
>>739038772Just grab whatever, unless you specifically need certain stuff. Like big tires for apc repair
>>739038965>>739039008I can't grab whatever cause it's super heavy and over 10 missions I haven't gathered enough for even 1 vehicle. even though I steal vehicles any time I see one and load shit into it.
>>739038563I don't think I'd call anything in this game a bullet sponge. Stealing garbage, though, yes. I lo e stealing garbage especially in the garbage truck. Im the trash man
>>739039106bro what vehicles have you stored at the base? don't you have a panel van with a small crate in the trunk? also try to find a varlet or wahtever it's called and load a big crate on the back of that one. the panel van also has 300 inv space aside from loading a small crate. i think one of the smaller cars has 3 small crate slots too or something. it's sometimes worth going into the early levels without a vehicle so you can just grab an extra one to salvage at your base. and then you can just upgrade your main car to have a gun and armor-- or just use the salvaged chassis from cars you break down to craft one
>>739039106You should totally be able to make a loader van with basic parts
>>739039234I don't have any cause all the shit cars I just disassemble.having to drive around gathering crap is the slog I'm talking about.maybe it's just not a game for me.>>739039272I don't but either way...
>>739039272Yeah loader van takes shit you can get from Crow's field
>>739039406If you don't have any vehicles at all, do you at least have the Carmine rig? Until I got it from Wilderness, I was trudging around in a Panel Van. You can check the fabricator, decide what you want to make that feels achievable, and then go get loot with that in mind. There is a LOT you can fit in a normal van, especially if you load a crate onto it. Can just be one of the big ones you find, even in Roundabout.
>>739039464Correction, Loader Van fits Large crates. I think the basic one you grab off the street can only fit Medium and Small.
>>739039464maybe I'll give it another go when it releases.they should add a shipping list feature for components.
>>739039406literally grab a panel van from the beginning of wilderness and dip the fuck out without doing anything else, or any other early salvage level. guaranteed van that you can either salvage or actually use for looting/upgradebuttbh a lot of what you'll be doing is driving your van around gathering stuff and then getting off and gunning down a bunch of dudes with a good smg or whtever weapon, so you can make a car that kills shit good or holds a fuck ton of loot, and then eventually a proper killing machine after that>>739039501yeah the basic panel van/armored + up gunned panel van can only hold 1 small crate iirc. >>739039563>shipping list featurethat's not a bad idea desu, something you can pin to the hud and toggle on and off maybe

are the contents of the merchant weapon boxes randomized?
>>739041158the fucking traffic robots lol? i had one ram into me repeatedly while I was on foot and I had to back off and shoot it down. they're retardedly fast when they want to be
>>739042028I think they are like robocops, but unarmed, designed for more civil shit. But they love chasing you when in a car.Anyway found a mae dios machine gun, 50 cal machine gun for my party van... business is picking up
>>739041732I've only bought one of each but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing every time.
>>739044406 are the small guns still stuff like bonesaws 8mil, or what? Also I love how there's a suit portable mae dios that's just a chopped down barrel.
>>739040823Yeah, started doing that too
>>739045018the small weapons merchant crate is a relative term, it's packed with like 3.7k weight of medium vehicle weapons and ammo
Other thread died so I'm reposting here Some tips or otherwise explanations for poorly explained/implemented mechanics>shields can be restored by switching them off (default keybind x) and switching them on in the hub >or switching them off before a stage transition like going deeping into the sinkhole and turning them back on in the next stage>you can only sell shit to the merchant that he is already selling>you can cheese infinite money by buying the small gun crate from the merchant then selling him back the ammo for profit>the large crates some merchant wares (like the gun crates) come in have 5000 capacity and can be used normally>Mongoose can mount small/medium crates>vehicles that can load large crates can load smaller vehicles and powersuits in a large crate slot, which themselves can be carrying a crate
briggas live like this and don't see any issue

so whats the story? we're killing all the brigadors because they fucked up great leaders utopia?
>>739048369great leader or not have you seen the sheer amount of random civilians killed whenever a brigador landed to do their thing?yeah
>>739048428Hey man, $50 per civilian adds up, and tickets offworld ain't exactly cheap.
>>739048369It's payback time.
>>739048369It wasn't an utopia per se, more like current El Salvador, but if some corpo paid off mercs to go fuck up your homeworld for cash, it's at least easier to take revenge on those opportunistic guns for hire than it is taking on the whole megacorp that funded this.
>>739048970Presumably attacking a mega-corps that operates on multiple planets makes doing significant damage to it very difficult. At best you just do what Great Leader did and break away, but the corpos don't exactly take that laying down.
>>739035207Saved
>>739035259It'd be cool if the handling of bikes changed depending on what rig you're wearing. Like with a loyalist you can drive them just fine, but with the carmine you're so top heavy it's a nightmare. The description of one of the smaller bikes mentions that he once saw someone in a carmine riding it and it was like watching a bear on a unicycle
Anyone found a good farming spot for the M2/Mae Dois? I haven't found one since my first one blew up in a Party Van.
>>739040823Oh that's a good idea
>>739040026Funnily enough there's a bunch of weapons in the demo that are too heavy for this thing and you can only mount them on the meme sprat van
>>739043705Reminds me of these things from psycho pass
>>739048970>>739049046SNC is also a shell company that's actually owned by a bunch of different megacorps, so that's another layer

Think I'll call it quits 20 hours, the combat mechanics are there, but there's a whole lot of QoL that needs to be done, especially with the inventory management. There's also all the powerful weapons you can get but only infantry, powersuits and APCs you can use them on in this demo build, so you can't really test the limits of your firepower.

>>739059094it's a stretcher, and they spawn in the test levels you access through the debug menu.
I am the anon who an heroed himself with his own Rounder. After wiping my save i decided to do a final self imposed "get rich quick scheme" challenge. Basically do the tutorial>get the gentry upgrade kit along with a loader varlet and beeline for the sinkhole the first chance you get. I learned that the chobbers on later levels have hand grenades AND the AI can chuck them. Did you know a nade one taps the loyalist gear? I know now. A shocking revelation to have when the chobbers recreate the storming of Normandy while all i have are scavenged <15 weight guns. Replace the binoculars with a nade you get in the tutorial missions suitcase when you go deeper after level 3 so you can clear out the ambush. I also learned that 3 cinderblocks all at the same time are a horrific power spike when the AI stops making out with walls and just rushes you. A bonesaw did not save my 20 hp ass on the second attempt when each cinderblock gets up very fast after being downed which makes it a problem for the saw to stun all of them.Loader varlet is also MVP cover in a pinch and binoculars+positioning is king when you do not have a carmine to carry you. In the end the scheme is doable but you need to avoid getting unlucky with a spawn of cinderblocks RIGHT at the start.
>>739058625They should also have a counter for how many items you have in your stash, and the price/weight/stack cap should be shown in the inspect screen.>>739058897I bought the spacer tank from the merchant for 50k, it's basically the heaviest piece of armor you can field and can equip most of the guns in the merchant's heavy guns crate. It can basically shoot halfway across every map in the demo, while 800/400 HP/shield is nearly impossible for anything in the demo to take down; it's more likely you yourself will destroy it by accident.
>>739057739Trvke. I can justify carrying hi-cells on a big fuck off cannon like the sarissa (where you can get a way more impressive destruction-per-cell unit ratio and a far more impressive reach). But on a short range mediumweight weapon like the xochi it's just a lame deadweight
>>739057329Xo melts cars great, but the big laser cannon is stupid, its basically a Rocket >>739060008I'm ok for now with party van, but I might want better for that hell map

>>739039406>I don't have any cause all the shit cars I just disassembleAnon, you gotta upgun the starter cars and work your way up to the big boy toys, not jump directly into a Betka or whatever. There's a panel van in Roundabout that's easy to snag. Just get that, mount a box on it, and use that to grab what you need. Once you can upgun it and put a loader on it you'll have a dependable little loot van as long as you can keep it fed.
>>739060268I think sarissa is SUPPOSED to consume way, way more cells. The other one is REALLY impressive for melting apcs. Feels closer to intended balance. Also sarissa demands a larger mount doesn't it??
>Finally find a second Black Hand>that means it's safe to bring out on a mission>kind of disappointed by it, doesn't melt shit with the same intensity>pick up Cendrillion>it's literally Black Hand but better>magazine instead of single shot>loads plentiful high cells instead of ridiculously rare ultra cells>longer range, creates a circle of gamma radiation around the point of impact instead of a short coneIt's heavier, but that's the only draw back. Love me war croimes.
I love how various pipe guns look like ridiculous contraptions but at the same time seem mechanically feasible.

How do I prioritize loot? I'm not confident enough to bring my own truck yet and a random cop car can carry only so much small crates.
>>739064771You can grab a stock van on a lot of maps, wilderness has one near the start behind the gas station and roundabout has one down south, and that can carry 300 units of loot by itself. If you mod it to be a loader it can carry two big crates and one small one on top of that.
>>739063615Hopefully soon now that the drama around the artist has blown over
>>739064771Priorities serve a goal, anon. If there's something specific you want to build, get parts for it. If you have a gun you like, grab the ammo for it when you see it. There's not really a best way to prioritize devoid of any context. Basically, don't stress over it too much, be willing to experience and learn and you'll be fine.
>>739064698>Or might hit early access at least, I'd happily buy itI think that's the plan for after Next Fest
>>739064771>find a Panel Van from the early missions>upgrade it as soon as possible, not just for capacity, but because the loader also provides QoL by letting you loot without leading the van>try to get a good weapon that can deal with APCs>farm Vanderberg until you get 10k dosh>buy a light guns crate from the merchant (bring an upgraded Panel Van) for 10k>sell the ammo from the crate at the merchant to cheese more money (do this as much as you need for infinite money)>take the box which has 5000 capacity>loot fucking everything with your 5000 capacity box
>>739064771vans are common, and while you need to upgrade one to upgunned or loader to pack a large crate, the base panel van has an inventory of 300.0enough room to carry a single lobo leg, or a shitload of ammo/parts/guns.upgrades are cheap too, you'll find the gun-van becoming an early workhorse, and something you come back to when your party van gets blown up by a ffffFFFFUCKING CORVID REEEEE.

>>739071725Legit options:>Vandenberg has about 4k split between two crates, but you need to clear the map to be allowed to leave>there's a bunch of money chests at the very end of Sinkhole>you can raid the police ammo depot and sell the ammo to the merchantExploit option:>buy light weapon crate from merchant and sell him back the ammo, you make infinite money (but you need 10k to start)
I wish I had more time for vidya, I've been enjoying the original for a couple weeks when I have time, but I doubt I'll get to the demo for this anytime soon between everything else. Still gonna buy it day one just from what I've seen.
>>739061652the graxa body really looks like an m3 grease gun with a gay fat laser slapped on top lmaothere’s also a 9mm smg that looks like a grease gun or something similar but much shorter barrel with a funnel shaped thing at the end
Is it a cakewalk like the first one?
>>739074804It's a little harder until you get a powersuit or a proper tank
>>739074804Like the first one, it really depends. It can be, if you bring your biggest arms to bear. There's not a lot to challenge the full size mechs in the demo at the moment. I find the first game cozy all the way up to difficulty 8 and above. Usually I run light mechs tho.
>>739071991Vandenburg is netting me good moneyI also find I like the geist as a main gun to pair with the cut fifty on the party van. It's accurate, rate of fire is alright, shame the ammo is so rare.
>>739071512holy shit
>>739075116Sorry, I meant to say above 8 is Not Cozy. That's when I'm at risk of getting one-shot from behind. I find calling it a cakewalk weirdly performative, because there's so many difficulty levers for you to play with. If you want it to be harder, there's a lot you can do to find the sweet spot.
>big slug on main>cut fifty on side>fifty makes everyone drop>big slug into stationary targetsit's too easy

Why are there Corvids on Mar Nosso? I understand the Loyalists and Spacers being there one being hidden terrorist cells and the other traveling from one planet to another but aren't the Corvids just a gang?
>>739079530I think some corvids have their own sense of patriotism and had a desire to see solo nobre under corvid control with more freedoms or whatever, so I can imagine there would be corvid teams fighting the corporation. Or maybe they're just scavenging because they've all been displaced from their original home
You guys got any tips for farming creds?
>>739039406>>739039464>>739039501loader anything is important because it can browse through the contents and pick stuff out of one crate and shove it in another, no matter how big it is (so long as it fits)you cannot do the same with your hands.
>>739079795I think there's an exploit with selling some shit back to the merchant for more monies
Strapping this to a van is pretty funBasically a flak cannon on wheels

>>739081134nah, gen 1 sten gun, rotated so the magazine faces down.see that round dimple inside the boltcarrier/ejector-port?you shove your finger in there and push back the bolt to charge/cock it. :D
Also anyone know wtf is going on with this obrez? Its clearly a mosin nagant with all the wooden furniture removed and cut down shorter (kind of like an actual obrez)but it looks like they shoved part of a german machinegun onto it to act as replacement furniture.I am wondering if its the MG3, or maybe even the older WW2 era MG42
>>739081482it does look like the barrel shroud thing on an mg42. weird
>>739081563I knew it.If you look at these guns, a lot of them look like they don't have any wooden furniture for some reason. They have polymer, metal, or some cobbled bullshit.at best you get grips that MAYBE were made of wood, but easily could be more polymer
>>739081482It's not a Mosin at all. You had it right at the end there, it's a cut down MG42 converted to bolt-action and handloaded 8mm wildcat.

>>739081794the hell it is...?The MG42 barrel shroud is EMPTY and the actual barrel is shoved on top of it...really?I was sure the top stuff was from a mosin....no. no I swear that is a mosin on top.

>>739084397I've seen people use it. Hit f1>>739082540Less rounds, not as piercing. That shitty sawn off rifle 1 shots any person not in a power suit
>>739084718yeah it's a little funny, it would be funny if we had faulty intel and you get a mission that's supposed to be a cakewalk but then you get ambushed
>>739083231right now walking around in a Fork is the same thing as walking around in a Touro or a Broodmother. You're the top of the foodchain, and nothing can hurt you.I'd love a "flashback" mission where you play as a random civilian running around in their raincoat during the Long Night. You've got Arlo's flying around wrecking whole buildings, Treehouses blasting artillery at them, and in the midst of it all your street-level ass is just trying to get away with your life.

>>739031035I like Jagged AllianceSell me on this game.
>>739085028It's more but also different. Different perspective, you're a terrorist now. So you spend time gathering gear and then customizing a car/truck/motorcycle/tank/mech/agrav etc. And there's a lot of combat on foot with different combat exoskeletons basically and a variety of firearms and explosives to use. There's more of a sense of progression from shitty weapons to much better ones.>>739085129Isn't jagged alliance a squad turn based tactics game? There's a big difference there already.
>>739085234You overthrow a government so I guess that's where I draw the similarities from.
>>739085234Did they add sex scenes?
>>739085129this is like if you were one of the goons you fought in jagged alliance coming back years later to kill all your mercs for ruining their country
>>739084117Thank god the APC's AI is so bad.
>>739035207>>739084881That's the good stuff
>>739085336I assume there's a lot of preparation in jagged alliance so I guess that overlaps with bk. You decide what ammo and gear you want to go out with. Story-wise there could be some similar elements, as the other anon said.
>>739084881i cri evry tim
>>739084718I felt this way with roundabout, next 2 missions feel easier because no corvid holding those sawn off 8 mil guns that 1 shot you.>>739085517Honestly they are too stupid for my liking, and the fact a 22smg kills them at all is dumb. Wish armor EVENTUALLY had a cut off where it did no damage.
The way maps are named in the original Brigador has me wondering if there's ever been an effort to map Solo Nobre. I wanna know what the whole city looks like.
so kek you take her out with like 500kg of explosives
>>739084718Nah man you didn't look well.previous missions can get you LAWs in crates.I needed only 2 laws and technically could have done it with just one, by killing only the apc guarding the bonus crate, and the other apc east of it.I am confident that it might be possible to just avoid the APC's entirely
>>739086385nta but i swear i couldn't find a single law in the previous levels and I had to do wilderness with a thumper and armored van w/ turret. it wasn't until after that i revisited older levels and then i found a box filled with laws and grenades lmao. is this shit randomized
>>739084881forget that lame shit, run vandenberg ang build yourself some proper armor.only one up-armored APC to deal with, the on-foot are scattered around enough for you to reliably take them out in groups.Once you've done it a couple times you'll have it down to a routine and boom, a Fork in 20 minutes or less.
>>739086321You could try connecting them in order of closed casket. I doubt they would tile together coherently though , especially since some are dead end maps
>>739086573its random.I figured out the loot gen was random and could be varied with roundabout and got a loader van builtthen I ran through it a few times and got fuckloads of gear from good crate-spawns.funny bit of info when going after the second rig, the dromo or whateverthat entire fucking boss fight can be done without firing a single bullet as a carmine rig, but possibly even without it.I would kick the powersuits, they would trip, and then I would stomp their face in.same with the dude in the dromo rig.Its hilariously fun and I might have died if they had gotten a shot off (that hit me) but they didn't :D
>>739086385I went back and ran earlier missions tons of times once I got to wilderness in search of AT weapons and found fuck all. I ended up moving to later salvage missions and still never found any AT weapons until I managed to snag the cut 50 from the guy in chop shop and used that.
>>739086794what annoys me is that I found a total of like 6 laws, but more like 50 rpg rockets.AND NOT A SINGLE FUCKING LAUNCHER FOR THEM
>>739031035kinda looks like postal if it was bad... scratches chin...
>>739086858yeah the only RPG7s I found were from the sinkhole and the final mission on half the cops
>>739086743Kicking the shit out of people with carmine feels great.>>739086573You can find laws in shoreline earliest iirc, and they put apcs out of commission instantly. Very good if you absolutely can't fight apcs for shit. Also light enough for pistol slot on no rig
>>739086887>its a cop spawnthen it can probably spawn on lower missions if you are lucky.I had one cop drop a .50 cal rifle on the ovo-destruction mission.

>>739086858Rpgs are regularly found on enemies inside the police barricade place set for demolition, place looks like a junkyard ruins. However enemies hold them, and they WILL one shot inferior vehicles

>>739086321>>739086737The wiki has this under the page for full linear solo nobre.
>>739087009Actually this checks out, as the real life amerigo was used for riot suppression, since 22 was less lethal than say, 9mm, but still absolutely scared people. Them on apcs would be great for quelling riot's without killing.Rl example is called American 180. So I could see it used for this.

>>739087815>>739087895if you do a quick run through, the rainbow brigade tried to pull their usual "REEE NAZI" shit for no reason on the cofounder and someone they got doing an audio book.and the devs don't seem to have given much of a shit.
>>739087895>kept their politics out of everythingisnt this game extremely political, its like one of the biggest fuck corporations games I know
>>739087472It's mostly that the buildings are too dense. There's lots of wide open areas in Brigador, and other things in general that aren't just densely packed residential buildings.
>>739087815one of the main devs said some shit about trans ppl on a forum with his name attached for some reason i honestly have no clue what he said but it was offensive enough for the game's online community to go apeshit and he was removed from the team and then apparently later added back. it always gets brought back up and there's always going to be ppl who don't play the game because of this. but yeah anon is stirring up shit.

>>739088152correct, glad you could understand :)
>>739087803This is the vehicle roster in the first game, minus some of the superweapons they added laterif they implemented these with the higher level of detail, as well as unique mechanics for the medium and super mechs, a lot of depth would probably need to be added into the destruction mechanics on top of what is already therenote the size of the Rounder tank compared to how large it appears in BK
>>739087993The corporation was on our side in the first game. They're enemies here because now we're playing the opposing side. Overall there aren't really any good guys in the Brigador universe save for maybe the yellowcoats that get gunned down in every mission.

guys im center left
>>739088291>They're enemies here because now we're playing the opposing sidePilgrim's story heavily implies that you are mopping up the Brigadors on the SNC's behalf, the killers are being used. The connections to the black market are way too convenient to be legitimate. As long as the corporation itself has something to gain, that's why the killers are transported and given equipment so easily.
>>739087993Not really because it approaches everything from a more or less neutral standpoint. There's no real good guys in the Brigador universe. The NEP is basically a corrupt dictatorship that rules with an iron fist and ultimately leaves most of the people of Solo Nobre living in sprawling shanty towns. Corvids fancy themselves as freedom fighters but they're not much more than terrorists. They're not above resorting to suicide bombers dressed as civilians or driving bomb loaded Tuktuks. Shit, they don't even seem to particularly care about their own how many of their vehicles like the ropekid and linemen are pure death traps. Spacers are psychotic space aristocrats and the SNC are just a conglomerate of greedy corporations who want to reclaim whatever assets they own on Novo Solo even if it means mass casualties. The game never takes a particularly hard stance on politics.
You can hate gigacorps and retarded governments without being a lefty you know
>>739088817this is why REAL brigador killers scrounge for all their gear

>>739088647Your literally making my point. Any ocean views? No? Just IMMENSE bomb proof border walls. This is the devs spoon feeding your ass, and the fact you don't feel dumb comparing ice to death squads feeling a little off says a lot.>>739088692I'd even say back should be immune. If you can't stop 22 on a vehicle, how is it armored??? I think MINIMUM it should take 357 rounds, or 556
>>739088884Theres nothing to really suggest the NEP is corrupt or that their rule left people poor. In fact its pretty much fact that NEP rule massively increased quality of life across the board in Solo Nobre unless you were a corporate stooge or a criminal. Great Leaders rule was genuinely great for the people, and the SNC's only goal is to bring back the old days where life was hellish and profits were higher

>>739092349Yeah I'm not really sure how enemies bailing out of vehicles worksWhen I mow down an APC with a .50 they'll stay in it till their dying breath, but if I smack it down to like 45% hp with an RPG, they'll always bailIn this case, he bails after enough .50 sniper rounds I'm guessing its tied to hitting a certain threshold of HP and the hit being big enough that the pilot gets spooked and bails
>>739089564Is there any Faber mercenary stuff all I saw was their APC
>>739089072>Technically this thing is a tool for mining and excavation, vibrates rock and most construction materials so hard they turn to powder. Hardshields laugh it off though and most metals will just make funny sounds, so the Temblor wasn't adapted for military use until the NEP needed something special for "dynamic urban restructuring", aka mouseholing. When the food riots hit their peak you'd see mog teams bursting out the sides of buildings, clad with Temblors and hydraulic claws for dealing with rebar. The powdered concrete would cling to the mogs and give them a sickly white look, hence the "Guriçá" nickname. Had people living in those dense habitation blocks real spooked, especially since more than one Guriçá team caused a building to collapse.>Around that time Central also discovered the Temblor does the same thing to bones and teeth as it does to concrete. Officially they don't do that anymore, though I've seen enough people with the hallmark disfigurements that I'm guessing it can't all be blamed on the Nobrean mafia. The description for the temblor from the first game. Great leader and the NEP are definitely not squeaky clean good guys who fight for the people even if things generally were improved under their rule.
Is the Carmine just a straight upgrade to the Loyalist rig? Or is there some minor trick like you can't run powersuits with them?
>>739093169You nailed it, it doesn't fit into the mongoose or sawbuck, mechs or most tanks. You can still ride the coffin and rounder with it but I wouldn't expect that to stick around.
>>739093169>Or is there some minor trick like you can't run powersuits with them?Bingo.iirc the dromon doesn't have this drawback, but it's generally considered not as good as the carmine.
When you came pulling in here, did you notice a sign out in front of my house that said "Dead Brigger Storage"?
>>739093326I can imagine the coffin being pilotable with a carmine suit considering it's completely open and you just kind of sit on top of the thing like a bike

>>739095303>SOLO NOBRE IS BURNING>YOUR PEOPLE KILLED FOR PROFIT>TAKE WHAT THEY TOOK FROM YOU>MAR NOSSO BEARS WITNESSDoesn't sound like spacers to me. I don't think spacers give a shit about Solo Nobre or think killing for profit is bad. The ball also doesn't seem like spacer tech, though it is in their preferred orange-red shade.
>>739095702Frankly idk what's going on. I assumed spacers because weird ball tech and wanton destruction of dirteaters. I figured that spacers just want to kill stuff so they'd hit mar nosso or really anywhere they want? The intro text is clearly about loyalists but maybe it's deliberately unrelated to whoever is sending the ball into the field

Can you actually sell shit at the merchant or do I seriously have to grind enemies who only drop 10 fucking credits each to make money?
>>739096751He only buys the stuff he's selling. I assume your real money makers at the merchant are going to be components and stuff since I think he's always stocked on those.
>>739096751Going to the police elimination mission regularly gives like 3k credits. Easy enough to farm if you can handle a single apc
>>739096751You can, but you can only sell the same things that he sells for some reason.Best way is to bring a van to the nospol ammo depot, load the thing up on the weird ammo for the larger guns (you'll know it by the placeholder MSpaint sprites), and sell all of it off. There's also that infinite money exploit where you can buy the light guns kit, then sell the ammo in it apparently
>>739095940>Frankly idk what's going on.I don't know if you mean in general or just this scene. Mar Nosso is the SNC home world. The SNC are the people that hired the brigadors in the first game to destroy key targets and just generally cause havoc in Solo Nobre with the intent of opening it up to be retaken by the SNC, which of course caused mass civilian deaths and devastated Solo Nobre. We're playing as a group of survivors from Solo Nobre who have come to Mar Nosso to exact revenge on the brigadors and the SNC who hired them. The opening narration seems to be directly related to the ball attack. I don't see why it wouldn't be, frankly. Also I still don't believe the ball is spacer tech. Spacers have their ball treads, but those actually roll along the ground while the pinball rotates randomly entirely free of its movement, and while the pinball shares the orange-red color of spacer tech it lacks the black and white striped motif that all of their vehicles have in some form while including a completely new green eye design. I also just don't think spacers are capable of that kind of power. We see they have tanks and power suits and light recon vehicles like a normal military, I don't think they have the capability to just deploy superweapons like that to just go have a little rampage whenever they feel.
>>739096751Vandenbergthere are two crates, both marked with road flares, that can have anything from 3000-4000 credits split between the two.do the mission 3-4 times, buy a Fork light mech.

>>739094407>>739096937also, the obrez is made for wildcat 8mm ammo.the bonesaw is NOT.the wildcat ammo is overpressure handloaded stuff that would blow up the barrel and chamber of the bonesaw.
>>739096795Despite selling them, the merchant wouldn't buy an e-engine, large or a set of treads off me, so he definitely doesn't buy everything that he sells.

>>739096937MG3 and MG42 have the exact same barrel shroud.

I don't see any difference between the shrouds for the MG3 and MG42 so if you want you can explain it. As far as I can tell the recoil enhancer has just been detached. >also, the obrez is made for wildcat 8mm ammo.I said it was doing that, idk where you're going with this.
>>739096904just the scene, but it's nice to read a recap.really makes me wonder who designed this ball, guess we'll figure out when the full game comes out lol
>>739097154I tried absolutely every possible combination of the items being on the ground, in the box, in the vehicle, in the box in the vehicle, on the pad, off the pad, etc. until I finally realized he was willing to buy the complex parts I was carrying in the same box as the e-engine, large, just not the e-engine, large itself.
>>739097253I don't think its impossible a spacer had family or some shit on solo nobre. They are crazy, but some ARE also trying to defend it, even for weird reasons.Thinking there's no way a spacer would avenge it seems a little odd. Not ONE spacer would be upset??? C'mon
>>739097245I thought the mg3 was more different, I apologize and concede on that.anywaysthey would need to swap the barrel of the gun as well to make it work with such higher pressure ammunition.call it a minor oversight by the devs if they wanted it to be clear that most of the bonesaw went into making the obrezthe wildcat ammo even warns youI don't know how else you would safely make the barrel work.

Didnt notice cops have these goofy motorcycles
>>739097643Wrong. Spacers mostly stay in their own fold. The reason being that they're arisocratic, snobbish, and psychotic dickheads who hate being on planets and think flying around in space almost 24/7 makes them superior to anyone who stays planetside. They most likely regard the SNC as nothing more than a bunch of dirt eating rabble who exist solely to dish out contracts to them
>grow bored of being unstoppable metal death machines>go back to being a squishy unshielded operator with an fn fal and a pair of binoculars>maybe pick up a shotgun during the mission, who knows>incredible shootouts where I only survive because I was able to aim over the hood of the cop car while crouchingthis is legitimately fantastic.I wish there was a mission with some AI forks and betkas puttering around, both to have something for my own mechs to chew on, and to see how the loyalist rig does against them.
>>739097946Spacers giving a fuck about a single city state, on a single planet, in the entire galaxy sounds super out of their MOIt certainly could be spacer tech but I doubt its a spacer pilot

Every spacer deserves every terrible thing that happens to them - they are THAT bad. >>739097523I just figured that would be an action thing more than a barrel thing. A locked up bolt is always going to be way sturdier than an automatic system by virtue of being locked up mechanically, and that's where handling pressure will be most important. All you'd need to do is figure out throat wear. Or maybe not, and just hope it doesn't explode since the Obrez is kind of obviously a cobbled together PoS.

The floating ball of death feels more like a corvid mashing spacer parts together. It doesn't have the sophisticated polish of a spacer vehicle but it definitely has the bizarre element down.It would not surprise me if it was the same designer of "Mother's Love"
You find so much shit in the sink hole, I didnt even know there was a non cut down M2
>>739102181I've had one of these since the second time I extracted from Roundabout and don't have a single fucking thing to put it on. Drives me up the wall looking at it in the stash.
>>739101707Yeah, Johnny Five Aces was a character from a vaporware game that originated from Something Awful. No idea why it garnered so much attention since to my knowledge nothing really came of it aside from some concept art and a general backstory. "Games" that have died at that point are like a dime a dozen and you can usually find them as doodles in a high school student's notebook.
>>739102064I don't think its even high cells, its they need to use like 5x the power
>>739102250Yeah I guess it is just awkwardly out of reach for the van
>>739102181that bad boy is in the first game but it's not until now we've gotten a nice up close model of it.also 'mae dois' means ma deuce so literally just a portuguese m2 My understanding is that this weapon not only predates the colonies, but space travel entirely. If that is the case then it's a truly venerable design, and one I'm told will continue to serve for the foreseeable future.-Efi
>>739086385If you are lucky, that is. After dying twice in Wilderness I ran Shoreline a bunch of times because anon said he found LAWs and thermobarics there. I didn't.However, Kolchak Park is piss easy and has a large crate that, at least for me, frequently gives explosives.
>>739102518I do hope the infantry get a little smarter in the future. Not opr8tor tier but a little less boneheaded would be nice.
>>739102336>-EfiAre we gonna have to kill her eventually? Marvin beck and cephei chatfield too?
>>739102714Marvin seems to be working with us, somehow, so he'll be safe
>>739102714Marvin seems to be feeding us info so maybe not him. We did kill one of the early mission dispatchers in Obstacle 1 though, so who knows. Cephei seems like he'd be a strong possibility though, given his character.
>>739084846Technically the strongest thing you can get in the Garage right now is the Rounder (spacer tank), which has better defenses and heavier mounting points than the Fork, but it still can't equip the heaviest guns like the Konig. More importantly, you can enter the Rounder in the Carmine rig which can't ride in the Fork, so in the rare occasion your tank blows up you still have some HP to work with.
>>739102827>so in the rare occasion your tank blows up you still have some HP to work with. The more realistic application is if you get snuck up on while looting outside the tank youre not just instadead to anything over a .22
>>739102827Tank being usable with Carmin is a bug, mind you
See you next thread, Brigador.

>>739102252From what I understand the creator was a local lolcow. So Johnny himself became sort of a Sonichu like figure; an absurd character that fans venerate ironically.
