What is the future of superhero vidya?>MCU is dying>Insomniac Spiderman 2 was successful but the online discourse around it was negative>Wolverine is in dev purgatory and the leaks weren't promising anyway>Blade is in dev hell>Gotham Knights was atrocious>MvC is dead>Injustice is dead>Suicide Squad was a bust>Rivals was briefly the most popular game in existence>Tokon is generating a lot of excitement
Death, hopefully.Comic books are one of the mediums opposing videogames; by having superhero videogames developers are just promoting the competition.
I don't understand why nobody tried to create an entirely original superhero tailored for the vidya medium from the ground up instead of adapting. VJ was the only attempt at this now many years ago.
Arkham Knight was a better Origin Story than Under the Red Hood.
>Rivals was briefly the most popular game in existenceIt's still doing quite well. This is just one week in America, btw.
>>739032356I know it's because it's movie-focused but I would have really gone nuts for the new Lego openworld Batman if it had Jason Todd in it in some way. Talia is such a wasted part of the roster. For that matter, why haven't any of the fake-edgy hollywood movies even tried to do a Jason story? It seems perfect for movie teams constantly vying to make their Batman the darkest one yet.
