The only games I can think of with fractal imagery are Bayonetta 3 and Shadow Generations
Kinda surprised it isn't used more but I guess it'd get kinda old if a lot of games did it

Recursive Ruin. It's an indie walking sim/puzzle game. From what I remember, the story is kinda cringe but it has some cool environments.
