Say what you want about the gameplay, but the world of RDR2 is nothing short of incredible. It's a joy just roaming the world and interacting with it. Incredibly comfy and ludicrously detailed

>>739035414A decent story with good themes that is betrayed mainly by open world game design and the random foray to the Caribbean. The story does have moments of not being believable and does not portray the social attitudes of the time with enough nuance however the story was never about those social attitudes and people on 4chan get too hung up on Arthur simply trafficking women's rights activists to their destination and grumbling along as they speak to him and the fact that Arthur doesn't say the nigger word or doesn't like it being said.The most glaring issue is Arthur being able to gun down infinity lawmen throughout the runtime of the game and the story tries to say he has redeemed himself by simply giving money to a whore, helping to disrupt oil works, and saving John and Abigail.In conclusion if this story were told in a linear or at least only semi-open world the story could feel much tighter and make more sense however it would probably never be able to shake the modern day liberal framing from which it's morality is taken. Nevertheless it is still a good game and the open world is probably the best part of it and it remains to this day the most beautiful game ever created.

The hair and beard growth mechanic in this game is insanely realistic. I don't think I have seen another game do something like that. The fact you can style your hair and facial hair and the hair growth mechanic realistically blends with that is just autistic levels of obsessive detail. Do you think GTAVI will have similar mechanics for Jason and Lucia?
