Why aren't video games fun anymore?
because most of them are nothing more than simple clones made in Unreal Engine
For a variety of reasons.If you are an anxious person you might not allow yourself to enjoy a game and relax. You might focus on the fact that you should be doing something more productive or how you have a huge backlog and need to clear this game as fast as possible which makes it a chore.You could also have a lot of free time which deminishes the enjoyment of hobbies. The reason why you remember games more fondly when you were a kid is because you had to go to school so you could not spend the whole day playing videogames. If you get a job you start enjoying your free time and weekends more.Another reason might be that you are playing games in which you have spent a huge amount of hours and since you know the game so well nothing will surprise you or challenge you which might make it dull. For example ive played gta v like 5 times but now i cannot stomach replaying it.Dont be too harsh on yourself, everyone experiences this feeling about their favorite hobbie. Maybe take a break from gaming for a week and I bet you'll have a lot of fun when you go back.

they are, it's just that all the good games are on Nintendo systems and valvecucks refuse to play them. I thought I was too old to enjoy games anymore but I tried galaxy 2 recently and beat the whole game in like 3 days.
