Remember like a decade ago when people were debating whether or not video games could be "art"? Then that debate completely died out when people of the most who said they weren't ended up dying of old age?

Nah, just games lost any art in them. You still can find something beautiful, awardslop, but can you find games similar to Shadow of the colossus, Spec ops the line, Kane and Lynch 2, even, let's say Nier Automata. Something provocative that uses all available tools of the medium?
