Opera ended around the 2010's when they ditched their Presto engine and became a Chrome clone, it was all downhill from there. Jon von Tetzchner left the company, founded Vivaldi Technologies, and now Vivaldi is the spiritual successor to Opera Presto. I've been using it even before the 1.0 release and never looked back, Opera Presto was something special in the browser world and losing it only enforced Google's monopoly on web standards further.
