>>739056237If you are actually new keep in mind while Tracer has a pretty simple and straightforward kit, yet she is one of, if not, the highest skill ceiling hero in the game. Knowing the map layout like the back of your hand is incredibly important with Tracer. You can easily blink into walls and obstacles when trying to escape if you dont know the layout. Not to mention the importance of knowing where health packs are since you'll be in the backline away from your own supports mostly. She also requires very precise tracking to get actual damage from her pistols. Hold left click with her pistols and aim very intently on tracking the enemies movement as you do. I noticed you looked like you wanted to conserve bullets but dont worry too much about that. You can blink while reloading to keep yourself alive in the fight. You can also use your blinks in the fight to confuse your enemy by blinking through them and having them have to 180 turn to find you but you can blink again back or diagonally to keep them turning around and around. While theyre getting their bearings trying to find you you can get some decent shots in.An easy way to get value from her is being patient. Hide in the enemies backline and keep an eye on their supports. You'll want to go in when either your Frontline (the tank usually) earners heavy enough attention from the enemy team or when you see the enemy support use an ability that would otherwise keep them alive in a 1v1 (like ana grenade/sleep dart).

>>739063732She can have surprisingly high dps if you can track very very well. You can kill just about any dps and support in the roster in one clip/magazine if you hit all your shots within it (some shots focused on head for crit damage needed). Being able to aim with an enemy very close to your face is needed for good damage but also for landing her ultimate which is also a oneshot on any squishy. But she's still similar to scout in that you can play the hit and run style to aggro enemy teams, bait cooldowns, and create space for your own. Depends on how the round is going and your own team composition. Also both require being able to strafe to avoid damage as well of course.Regardless some of these you'll just build automatically with time as you play the game especially if you have tf2 experience. For someone new to the game you played better than I did when I first started.
