II, Alpha and III have all been released on different collections across different platforms. IV resurrected Street Fighter. Why has it never been re-released?
>>739094714capcom knows it would immediately cannibalize sf6
People are gonna ask for rollback and they won't want to do it
>>739094828SF6 bros, how do you respond without sounding insecure?
>>739094714>https://store.steampowered.com/app/45760/?snr=1_5_9__205looks pretty available to me
>>739094828Steam numbers prove this wrong.
>>739094714It is. The Ultra version. It was actually on sale recently on psn for like 3 bucks.
>>739095598Can I play it on my PS5?
>>739094714The PS4 port is available on PS5.>>739094828It would sell well but I doubt it'll do better than 6, even will rollback people wouldn't want to go online and get vortex'd to death.
Do you now see the power of the Steam Machine? It's not about computing or graphics power, it's about library accessibility, in a neatly packaged console format.Want to play some multiplatform game from the PS2, PS3/360, or PS4 era?If you have a PS5, you simply can't, unless they decide to re-release it, and if they do, you'll have to buy it again even if you already own it.But on the Steam Machine? If it's on PC, it's there, available to play, no need for re-release, and if it's not there, emulation has you covered, and it's powerful enough to play ALL consoles that can already be emulated. And this is valid even for SF4, cause while you can play it on PS5 if you have the PS4 port, if you instead bought it on console back then in the PS3/360 era, you can't play that one on PS5, but if you bought it back then on PC? Still there.
>>739095804Is the PS4 port just digital? I heard there was a PS4 port, but when I search for it on Amazon, I just see the PS3 version.
>>739095995>Do you now see the power of the Steam Machine?>It's not about computing or graphics power, it's about library accessibility, in a neatly packaged console format. You're making a great point. Maybe I should get a Steam Machine especially with Capcom thriving off of their PC/digital business.
>>739096150I still stand by what i said, but whether you should buy one also depends on your already existing Steam library. As example, i own plenty of ps3/360 games that were also on PC, and many of them are not available on PS5, so a Steam Machine would be perfect(putting aside that i will not get one cause i already have a couch PC).But if you don't own games from that era, then you'd still have to buy them, but then again, if they're on PC, they'll 90% be on Steam, so with a Steam Machine you CAN buy them if you dont own them, or emulate them, but on a PS5, if you don't own them and they didnt make a PS5 or PS4 port, you're just out of luck. And mind, i dont want to say the Steam Machine is a good buy for everyone, it's not, and for many scenarios(you only play on TV sporadically and are only interested in the latest AAA and indie games, as example) getting a console is indeed preferrable, it's just that a Steam Machine definitely has its good use cases, and for those, it's far sperior than a console.
