Everything about UE5 engine updates are strictly band-aids for the problems it also introduced.

That thing that really impressed me was that experimental animation plugin from CDPR, turned out it's not lumen or nanite, it's character animation has a huge bottleneck. even in the Matrix demo, there are only 14 fully animated characters

Don't kid yourself. Lumen is expensive as fuck on 10 series cards, and games that let you remove it will double your framerate on that generation.
