The climb is progressing steadily, but I'm a fraid I might drop it at A10, two bosses in a row sounds like a pain in the ass.
>stuck at A1 with CladI'm on 5 with the others, but I don't know why I'm getting rekt with him so much. He seemed a lot easier in STS1.
>>739115759I found him to be one of the easiest and I think it's because I barely played him in the first game. The more you played him in 1 the more you go for the wrong stuff in 2. Exhaust is his weakest synergy now due to the rarity of all the pieces. Cards like second wind are rarely as good as they were in the first game. You want to focus on vuln synergies. Dominate, tremble, molten fist, vicious, thunderclap, colossus are some core cards. Probably forgetting a couple. But I bet you will succeed at a1 if you just take everything vuln related. You can force that shit in like 50% of runs or more even at a10. Strike synergy is also easier to put together than exhaust. Perfected strikes can carry you through act 1 and then just taking every pommel/perfect strike you see can win the game. Lucking into hellraiser or the deck doubling event makes a perfected strike run really easy. Also don't be afraid of taking cards that cost HP. Inferno solves act 1 AoE damage (and even kills decimillipede in act 2) and bloodletting is your consistent energy generation regardless of deck type. Vuln decks can draw into bloodletting with vicious triggering and keep going by applying vuln for more draw. Strike decks and pommel back into bloodletting for energy. It's very rare that my entire build is based around HP loss synergy but they are solid cards to splash into every single ironclad run.
>won a10 on bulk up defect w/ multihits, free block abilities, that +str/+dex ring, and the 5th card free relicdamn, bulk up is an alright card
>>739119993I find myself taking a copy often even in orb focused runs. Losing an orb slot is barely even a downside when you have stuff that needs evoked quickly like glass.
