Voltan Bogs and Robot Frogs, it's time once again to post about this game where you play as a terrorist from Space Venezuela.

>>739126823You're at the bar and one of these guys slaps your girlfriend's ass with his Black Hand, how do you respond?
>>739127002Why are spacers like this
>>739127257I'm not sure what you mean.
>>739127257An infinite desire to be seen as infinitely superior to anyone else, the belief that being rational or sensible is a dirt-eater thing and therefore lowering yourself to the level of animals, and the fear of being compared even a little with people who aren't vacuum-cel vacoomers living in space sociopath echo chambers.

Is there a single mention of Earth in Brigador? I'm glad it's distant to the events of the game because it'd be pretty boring, but I'd love just a few scraps of intel to stir my imagination.
Some anon said the Mog can carry mid crates. He was right.
>pick up raincoat nobrean npc in sinkhole>you can arm them in the loadout menuI'd like to be able to cart around a random nobrean to arm and help me in fights.>RPG cop pastes raincoat with an obrez>"NOOOOOOO HE WAS MY SPECIAL BOY!! >>739128630who cares man, it's very far away>As one of the first planets to be colonized at such an extreme distance from Earth, the fledgling settlement had to make do in relative isolation compared to other colonies.Novo Solo is where it's at
To the anon who said that spacers don't care about the SNC. I was rereading pilgrims and, as I thought I remembered, the main reason Tuno Vocc, basically the lord of a Dune-style Spacer high house, doesn't just send in heavy mech spears to stomp Mar Nosso flat for the death of his daughter is that it's considered "protected" by the SNC, or rather, the greater corporate body that built the Solo Nobre Concern as a shell. Whatever resources they control, it's big enough that Vocc wouldn't consider any plans for retribution that endangered his relationship with the company. Zhe is ultimately the one who provides the answer: he's an exile and can be denied as a Vocc asset after the fact, succeed or fail.>>739128638Cinderblock carries small crates, I wish they perched on your head or back but they just clip through the arm. It's a good rig for grinding the ammo crate in Sinkhole f1.
after 1000 hours in the simulator (gmod sledbuild) I'm finally ready to be a corvid.
>>739128791wat? you can pick up people?
>>739129609I think on a couple of maps you can find people that are stationary props rather than npcs
Was finally able to obtain a Sawbuck suit.Holy shit, 65 kg in each slots just lets me wield the regular fucking M2.
>Señor Graxa (graxa = grease in portugeese)>is a tacticool'd M3 grease gunThis was a bit too on the nose
I'm on the wilderness mission. What do I do about the armoured car? Can a "thermobaric gernade" deal with them? Or do I just avoid them?
>>739130937i think a handful of the guns are just the irl name in portuguese lol
>>739131138painful route is using a penpal and whatever guns you have to plink away at them when they get stuck ramming into a wall because retarded aiotherwise go back to earlier levels and up-gun a car/van and slap a bigger gun on it, or look for laws, thumpers, other explosives to kill apcs with
>>739126762The steel-ball paintball gun scares me
>>739131267>painful route is using a penpalI tried that. Barely tickles it and it's too risky because I dont want to lose that gunI'm gonna try with my grenades again. If you don't hear back from me, know that I fought bravely.
>>739131138scavenge roundabout or shoreline until you get your hands on some LAWs.ambush the APC(s) from maximum range.you can carry extra in a backpack and do a shuffle to get them out while in a safe location
>>739131138You either avoid them or build an upgunned Panel Van with a decent gun in it. You can exploit their retarded AI by aggro'ing them then letting them drive into a wall and get stuck because they haven't implemented a proper AI for wheeled vehicles yet.Vanderberg has a single APC which you can take out then loot it for a pair of M60s (Porco) and a ton of 7.62, which lets you shred every unarmored infantry unit and stunlock them, while you can use it to duel APCs at this point.
>>739129875This is definitely placeholder, Sawbuck is a Corvid version of the Mog or Juke.
>>739128791Would be funny if you're able to shanghai people for the cause. Would be kinda fitting for anyone with corvid ties since they liked using suicide bombers and stuff like that
>>739131510Also, Kolchak Park. The large crate in the courtyard, at least in my case, has most of the time at least either LAWs or thermobaric grenades.
Tezcatl is actually pretty great.
>>739129250I imagine some of the corporations comprising the SNC are spacers as well, or corporations that exist beyond the borders of spacers and flatearthers
>>739131138I ran that mission with the loyalist rig and no inventory. Just grab the shotgun from the cop car nearby and the bandages. Sometimes the shotty doesn't spawn, just try again. Then I grab the van and beeline it through the fence on the east side, circle 'round north, then slam into the nook with the crate at full speed. Get out of the car, shotgun anyone that follows you around the corner. Load the crate, drive off. It took a few tries but I'm sure there's a better Gamer™ than me here.
>>739131774Wonder if the name is a quasimorph reference
>>739131787Your route has you encounter at least two APCs, you were incredibly lucky.

>>739131416God speed soldier
>>739131774its hilariously lethal with its long range, full auto, and zero spread (after dialing in)ammo is a bit harder to come by early on, sadly
>>739131510>>739131549>>739131787>>739132378The grenades hurt them pretty badly. Could I have stolen this had I not thrown the last grenade?(got killed by a dude with a shotgun like a chud)
>>739132706btw yes you can. i cleared the infantry in the level with the apcs. it's hilarious when you see how much ammo they have in them.
>>739132529I found early game the Duiker is great at deleting dudes on the other side of the screen>>739132706Yes, you can steal them if they are still alive. Protip: The moment the dude bails out the APC is completely disabled.
>>739132786>>739132809Nice. Now I just need to find a big wheel to repair it
>>739132706you are better off taking a single LAW to the dromo villa mission, along with a voltan bog riflethere should be a single uparmored apc chilling in a barricade.pick off the cops until you are able to get in range of that APC with the LAWshoot it once with that, and it won't kill it, but it WILL force the driver to bail in fear.once you kill the rest of them you can have that APC.use your carmine rig on the second part of the mission to circle and kick down the enemies in the boss fight one by one in ambushes.hide behind pillars, let them get close, then pop out and WHAM.they get proned and stunned for each kick so its easy to kill everyone.
some bad boy surely has the Brigador Killers audiobook and is surely willing to upload it, hahaha right?
>>739133436do the mogs in the dromon mission not have any ammo?
>>739133724I never found out because I never gave them the chance... no wait... I think I saw them trying to shoot at me.They take a second to get a bead on you, and I never gave them that chance because there are all those pillars to hide behind and its in the dark.I never let them face me and would wait until I could sprint at full speed, and kick them down. When you engage the middle mog the sniper WILL start to run up but I never found it to be a big issue.
>>739133724They're not Mogs, and no.
>>739133968weird. and wtf are they? I thouoght it was the weird ball shaped placeholder for the mog
>>739126762Is the entire roster of pilots going to be targets in the full game?
>>739134108It's exactly that - placeholders. I think they were supposed to be some corvid mech =!= Coffin
>>739134169Probably not, but it would be kinda cool.Instead of the Full Solo Nobre you do the Full Brigador.
>>739134186I don't think they're Corvids. My guess is Spacers because they're seen around the Space Sniper and by themselves in Sinkhole. In lieu of any other Spacer units, I think they're all we've got right now. If they were Corvid, surely they'd spawn with the other Corvids.
>>739134186>>739134283ohhh, interesting
>>739134283That actually makes sense. On the other hand, they can drop Lobo legs, and that's not Spacer tech. Maybe it's Corvids who managed to get some "merchandise".
>>739134517or they don't have the right legs for spacer stuff, so its another placeholder that fits into the vertical slice (letting you build stuff with its drops for now)
>>739126762You fuckers convinced me to try out the demo. Where exactly can I find health or armor upgrades when playing Garage? I'l still grinding up to build an APC and I haven't found anything yet that would increase my hit points.
>>739134717>Where exactly can I find health Right in the fucking garage, don't they even tell you to check that large fucking briefcase?>or armor upgrades when playing Garage?Wilderness, Scrap Yard, Dromon levels. Do Shoreline and Kolchak Park first.
>>739134717Wilderness. You can scroll through the mission list and see, the ones that mention a Rig are what you're looking for.
>>739134717no offense bro but you gotta read a few sentences. the missions state that you can pick up rig parts.
>>739134717>I'l still grinding up to build an APCHonestly, you're better off just hijacking one. That said, the APCs are only really useful very early on. The moment you can afford a Mog or bigger the APC, even the uparmored one with dual M60s, just becomes kinda shitty.
>>739133702mega(dot)nz/file/zB0mgSZa#ItK8xNELSN4ubPN3PlQkv6pjf1UUOUN1iCOc1vlYBF4Here's those holotapes you asked for. Spacer tries dolphin pussy jelly for the first time, blows his shit smoove off.
>>739131138Thermobarics can handle them but they take between 3 and 5 grenades so you'll want to have at least three instances of them for the mission to guarantee you can take out at least two and get to the crate by the one in the center of the map which always has more explosives of some kind. It's a totally safe option though since you can throw them over cover and the APCs will struggle to get to you, or not even try in the case of the patrolling ones.
>>739135452don't click this, it's spacer dolphin porn :(
>>739131889Just did it again. You're only unlucky if you encounter a third APC right by the crate, and even then he has a tendency to drive straight into a wall. The panel van by spawn should get you to the crate with 300hp left if you're not dillydallying. I got unlucky this time around with the third APC, but one of the cops had a fucking Pen Pal for some reason so I took it out no problem. Guess it all balances out.
>>739135937>but one of the cops had a fucking Pen Pal for some reasonIn the top area with the original Carmine crate one of them ALWAYS has a pen pal.
>>739135289Most of it is probably to do with the way wheeled vehicles handle unlike treads/legs/agrav which make wheeled vehicles tougher to maneuver in tight spots. Having the durability of an agrav with worse handling definitely doesn't help survivability, not to mention the AI can't handle it either lmao
>>739135452Isn't that just the first one?
Betushka, my beloved.
>>739139216Oh oops. I totally glazed over the Killers part. The Killers audiobook is free, it's on youtube. $0.
>playing the game for 60 hours>only just realize you can right click a stack to cut it in halfBUCKMASTERRRRR!!
>>739139286Love that little slut.
Anyone knows how to get the blue topped quest crates again? The ones which have the rigs inside? I know they only have 500 capacity like normal large crates but they're unique and get replaced by generic large crates after unlocking the rigs.If anything there should also be more slots in the garage so we can display all out pimped out rides and other unique but otherwise useless oddities.
I finally think I understand the breaker's wheel and the Frank, you can use them to break those big security doors and mousehole through structures, even when in the loyalist rig.
>>739140679I'm kind of hoping for some pixelated-ass color options, like putting corvid teal strips on shit.
>>739140679lol wutThat said, you can scrap everything you don't need at the moment and just rebuild it. Note that this does not work with the 5k merchant crates.
>>739140698That makes sense. Iirc the Breaker's Wheel is based off a real breaching tool.
>>739140801There's some vehicles you can't construct either if you disassemble them, like the sawbuck
ooooh~ pretty.
I don't understand what I'm meant to do on the Wilderness mission? Retrieve the crates? With what?
>>739142540Leave with the Carmine Rig. You don't need the crate itself, the rig weighs 300 and can be loaded into anything with that much capacity. Eg. the panel van in that mission's parking lot.
>>739142540There's a crate far to the "north" which has carmine suit parts in it. You need to get it back to base, you can lift carry the whole crate out if you have a vehicle that can handle it, or you can place it in something that has the capacity for it>>739142737It only weighs 200 iirc
I must have missed something, so hopefully I find it, but in case I don't: What do I do with the Carmine Rig parts after they've been brought back to the garage? Salvage them? >>739142540Get a loader vehicle of some kind. The mission very clearly implies you need something to haul it. It's a big crate at the back of the map. Make an up-gunned loader van or a loader TukTuk. Either can hold large crates. Just be sure to stash the vehicles somewhere safe while you clear a path to the box in question.
>>739142856>Make an up-gunned loader vanwhat you're telling me I shouldnt be entering every mission with just a machine gun and some binoculars?
>>739142856Never mind, figured it out. For those who also don't know: drop the parts at the armory pad and either return to menu to refresh the garage, or come back from another mission - the rig will be wearable at its display case on the upper-right end of the garage. >>739143082Nothing wrong with that, but bringing something to store your fat stacks of loot is good if you plan on coming out with as much as you can grab. You're not making it out of Wilderness with the rig if you don't have a vehicle capable of either carrying the crate or pockets with 200 capacity to stuff the rig parts into.
>>739143082>machine gunJust kick nearest cop and grab his .45Run in circles from APCs until they get stuck in geometry and plink awayIn wilderness there's two guards with BMG snipers to deal with railroaded APCs>>739143242>making it out of Wilderness with the rig There's one guaranteed van near spawn
>>739130937I mean, they're almost all real guns with different names, aside from the energy weapons that we can't be sure brazil hasn't already cobbled together out of the equipment they use to heat water for showers.
>>739131995kek
>>739139286fuck yeah, the difference in maneuverabilty on that thing compared to the vans is so fun to finally hit
>>739140679hell yeah trophy displays would be sick
game structure is such an improvement over the first game. building up to the god mechs is so much more satisfying and gives you reason to actually try out weak stuff (and in turn makes you actually pay attention to stealth/alert mechanics)
>>739142737>>739142757>>739142856Thanks. I grabbed it and brought it home. Now what? I don't see Carmine Rig in the fabricator menu. What am I meant to do with it?
>>739144141Nvm I got it
>>739144141The Carmine Rig is a suit like the Loyalist rig you start with. Complete any mission then it will appear in base beside the Loyalist rig in a display case.
>>739126762I went to the Sinkhole and couldn't go anywhere, what am I supposed to do? I got my party van and I want to party.
>>739130937The Manhurin MR 73 is in the game with its French police config as the 'Garcon.' Someone was having a cheeky time with some of the names.
>>739144617Every sinkhole map has a white room in the middle with loot in it. Go inside and it'll unlock the nearby elevator to take you lower.
>>739131416>Barely tickles it and it's too risky because I dont want to lose that gunI think a guy spawns with one every time on the Dealership level. I dont know WHY you need a .50 to do police action for an electric car dealership but he's always there.
>>739144742Weird, thought I checked the entire map. I'll just load it up again.
>>739144821>>739144742Okay yeah, I get it now. I saw it the first time but it just didn't proccess as anything important and I didn't see any loot so I never checked. Time to dive. 5000 loot coming up.
>>739140801The rigs are found in a special blue crate like this, which are replaced by generic crates in reruns. It's nothing special besides having a different color, but you can't get it back if you salvage it.
Just read the first book and it was fantastic Makes me wanna crush every single brigger, spacer, corvid, and corpo skull possible Also Captain Blake is CUTE
>>739128630Yeah there's scraps but nothing significant, Earth is ancient and very very far away, any mentions are usually referring to old earth customs
apparently chobbers are "debt slaves" on top of being uber eats with guns.>>739143082start using an obrez and forage for good guns, like we used to do in the pioneer days.
>>739145349>buckmasterkek
>>739145867and his shit-eating grin
Has anyone read Pilgrim and can explain the state of Solo Nobre? The book flatly states that the SNC ultimately succeeded and got the planet open finally and took control of the city But it also implies that the NEP haven't actually lost yet , but I cant tell if theyre if they've just gone totally underground or still control parts of the cityI figured the Brigger Killers were just independent angry Loyalists but theyre actually NEP soldiers under orders to fuck up Mor Nostra
Was looking through some dev logs and apparently Volta is tidally locked with the sun, so one side of the planet has perpetual day and one side has perpetual night. Must be a fun place to live.
>>739145349>that bit where she goes charging into a Treehouse and she thinks "I'm about to charge into 500 tons of steel" with panic>then she thinks "I'm about to charge into 500 tons of steel" with furious joy and wonders if that came from her, or the neural jackThe machine spirit is pleased! Meanwhile Kinny's mog hates him and wants him to die.
>>739145991Being Voltan sounds like nightmare mode
>>739145991Yeah it's why the Carmine and the Voltan Bog Rifle are such a vibrant shade of pink. It's camouflage for the eternal Voltan twilight that covers the habitable zone, where the sun is just over the horizon.
>>739146008Frankly Kinny deserves it Little retard simps for Corvids while they rape the city and hand it on a silver platter to corpos It was comical reading about their gigantic shield sieges, real 40k shit
>>739145638Yeah an idea with chobbers is that they're essentially conscripts, except instead of being conscripted by a government because they're citizens they're conscripted by a company because of their debts
>>739146191This whole setting reads as somewhere between the CorpoNobles of Dune and the general societal decay of 40k, but with little to no space magic. It does feel like the Saints and the machines having a little bit of a ghost in them and those walking skeletons on the roster gives the series a little bit of magic, but it's less of a "I roll a d100 to lightning bolt!" magic, and more esoteric forces at work sort of magic.
Theyre just cute Lil guys :)
>>739146335I don't know if that is even actually magic, my headcanon for now is that the skeletons are people whose personalities got trapped inside their mech when they died, connected with a cranial jack. Mech personalities might similarly develop as a variety of people connect to them and a small imprint of them remains in the mech
>>739146335Yeah it really works especially in the books that grounds the whacky mayhem of the game Also its heart breaking that even making the long march to central command and losing nearly all of the platoon the corpos still won, but at least it gives us an excuse to murderize the fuck out of them in Killers
>>739146369Most iconic vehicle from the game for me
>>739146474Some poor conscript is gonna get a Mog that can't stop jerking its left arm. My bad.
>>739146369I really hope to see my Juke
>missing all these threads because factorio's got me >even though this moment will never happen again
>>739126762Sarissa is a monster of a gun for how ammo efficient it is.
>>739146743>never happen againdude, the games not even out yet, and there'll probably also be more coming up to release
>finally get myself a mog suit>tfw going from waging guerilla warfare and shitting myself whenever an enemy fields a sniper rifle to running around with a bonesaw MG forcing infantry to hit the dirt with suppressive fire, charging them while they're down, and kicking them so hard they fly backwards a few feet and die instantly
>>739146845Wonder if we'll ever get melee weapons for suits like described in the book, I want a giant buzzsaw and power claw on my Mog
>>739146845The coffin is funnier because it runs so fast that enemies hit the deck without you even firing anything just for fear of being hit by it
>>739146845I went straight for the party van, and from there straight to the fork.>>739146983We already have borderline melee weapons like the wheel, I'm sure that fuel has to be in the ammo slot for a reason.
>>739147091I assumed fuel was for a future flamethrower, but the devs seem to think flamethrowers are a massive hassle to code well so maybe not
>>739146785But it's the discovery of BK. Finally a demo and i'm over there building for days, it's still inoperative, this piece of shit factory hasn't produced a single thing yet. I love it. If it's not plugged in then the problems don't happen.
>>739129250>I was rereading pilgrimsStopped reading right there. The audio books are good but they're pretty inaccurate in terms of lore. There's a lot of shit the author gets wrong. For example in the audio book the contract is open to everyone and broadcasted all across the city on radios and message boards. In the game the SNC carefully scouts potential Brigadors, looking into things they can use to blackmail or bribe them into turning against their own. Fuck, the author constantly gets NEP's name wrong, constantly referring to them as the NPA. Also there's some inconsistencies with locations' lore. For example in the audiobooks the necropolis is treated as some sacred, almost religious place whereas in the game it's more of a popular hangout for junkies and drug dealers that was the source of a lot of sometimes violent conflict over grave duty rights among early colonists due to a species of ivy with narcotic properties that grew all over the necropolis.tl;dr: don't treat the books as actual lore.
>>739145930fucking kek
I'm a corvid at heart, but a loyalist realistically.
>>739147423aren't there multiple necroplisesesese? I thought it was only vorobey that has the drug ivy plants
>>739146757fuck yeah it is, I imagine it will get toned down, but I'd also be glad if it didn't
>>739146757>Sinkhole is the 2nd money missionOh boy. Guess I'll be able to afford everything pretty easily now. >>739147557I've got so many rounds and they weigh nothing. A full stack of 200 hcells is only 18 weight. But I'll try some other guns when I get my mechs and full tanks.
>play this for the first time>so mentally handicapped that i lose all the guns ive scavenged by trying to drop them offmaybe i aint built for this brochachos
>>739147604I was just using the bluetongue and the 25 APIT or whatever it shoots and it does less damage than the sarissa too
>>739147640lol did you die trying to get into a car or leave them all the floor?
>>739147640use like 2% of your brain to organize and rememer to park your car lol
>>739147721worse. i dropped them off at base
>>739147423The contract being open and scouting for specific individuals arent contradictory Random loyalists turned traitor are great for destroying NEP cohesion and morale, but you'd leave the big jobs like taking out the Orbital Guns to scouted pilots
>>739147662Damn. I want to read all the gun entries and get the image art. Hard to get a feel when you are staring at placeholder art and their is no description.
>>739147640>by trying to drop them offYou should't be able to lose anything inside the base, it goes into storage terminal when you go to next mission.Worst case is autodisassembled vehicles don't return all components if damaged.
>>739134108They're lobos (brain-in-a-jar attached to basically a mech gorilla body). Fun fact, the Mog's melee attack is faster than theirs so in a 1-on-1 fight you can just run up and kick the shit out of them.
>>739147835well shit, i must have fucked up somehow because i have 0 guns to equip after i died on missiontime to scavenge again it seems
>>739147794Some weapons that don't have a description in game have it on these pageshttps://stellar-jockeys.itch.io/brigadorkillers/devlog/1017430/l-o-r-ehttps://stellar-jockeys.itch.io/brigadorkillers/devlog/1426026/m-o-a-r-l-o-r-e
>>739131138Grab an obrez, and use it to shoot apcs in the ass. 4 or 6 blasts should kill it. Obrez is an absolute sleeper work horse>>739146757I'm almost positive efficiency isn't finished. Because yeah, it's stupid.>>739147019Enemies hitting the deck needs refinement, as currently ig it JUST makes them shoot back less, and maybe makes you consume more ammo
>>739148051Lets you close the distance and kick them to death more easily
>>739147423I think the only bit thats contradictory is that the author says the NEP toppled an independent government that was SNC aligned rather than SNC owned, when really Solo Nobre was always a corporate city before Great Leader
>>739147554Vorobey is the only one that really gets any real lore in the game and one of the reasons is it's primarily because it was one of the first ones built. In the audiobook the necropolis is referred to as THE necropolis and it's treated with a lot of historical significance so it's probably safe to assume the one mentioned in the audiobook is the Vorobey one. Even if that's not the case, it's still not really lore friendly because the audiobook almost makes it sound like it's the only one and the resting places of all of Solo Nobre's dead.
>>739147276>incomplete radar coverageshiggy diggy>>739147640On the bright side, at least you learned not to do that before you found anything of actual value.
>>739148167\well that's just silly.
>>739148167I think the book only implies its where all the OG colonists are buried, and some wealthy people that paid to get buried alongside them
>>739148014Oh nice, thank you. >>739148051I like that enemies feel more human and suppressing fire is very effective, but yeah, once you get any consistent levels of ammo and any decent assault rifles / machine guns with good rates of fire, it's often just completely overwhelming for the AI.Probably what is needed is scaling the suppression effect with the Training (enemy tier) and gear of the opponents better. So elite guys with more firepower and better armor take way more too spook. But your average cops and crooks will still panic and hit the floor at the 1st burst of automatic fire. Right now seems like all enemies react the same.
I desperately need a first person brigador game where youre stuck in a Mog and cut off deep in the city during the long nightA proper mech horror game
>>739147984Starting from nothing and popping a guy for his corvid blaster or cop 1911 is half the fun.
>>739148367Like a space hulk game
>>739148512yeah except unlike space hulk youre almost the lowest thing on the food chain
>>739148051>Enemies hitting the deck needs refinement, as currently ig it JUST makes them shoot back lessIt does a bit more than that from what I've seen. It feels like suppressing enemies either with heavier weapons or more sustained fire makes them hit the dirt longer making them more vulnerable to getting up close and stomping them or blowing them up with grenades and mortars. Really makes me think it's a shame that the devs can't figure out how to do multiplayer because it'd open up some pretty neat tactics. You could have your buddy driving an APC or some other vehicle with a mounted machine gun, forcing enemies to go prone while you go on foot for greater accuracy, hitting prone enemies with mortars or sniper rifles.Could still work if they're able to code competent friendly AI that you could order around but they still need to fix the kinks in the enemy AI before they even think about the possibility of coding friendlies

>>739145974>but theyre actually NEP soldiers under orders to fuck up Mor NostraThey're a mix of former Corvids and NEP soldiers actually. Pretty sure the idea is after the events of Brigador a good number of Corvids were probably pissed off that the SNC's method of "liberating" Novo Solo involved turning some of their buddies against them and mowing down shanty towns so they banded together with NEP loyalists to form a new faction dedicated to hunting down the Brigadors who fucked up Solo Nobre and generally wreaking havoc on the SNC.
>>739149195Ancient Earth wisdom. Turn them off and back on again (in your base.)

I don't think it's intended for the Mog to equip actual guns on its grenade slots but damn if it isn't versatile; you could double up mortars on the arm while having a pair of assault rifles or lasers to pick off close enemies, or mount a pair of Thumpers to compliment your twin MGs

>>739153319>Can I use it to send vans full of loot back midway through a mission?Yup
>>739153319Yeah, you can recall or ship out anything, and it include whatever is in it. So you could take a pure combat rig vehicle or mech, find some vehicle you want in mission, load it up as much as you can, ship it out, then get back in your og mech/veh and finish the mission. Just make sure you have an empty garage slot.
>>739153319fuck yeah you can, one of my favorite moves is to start with one of my vans, grab as much as I can carry and send it down the elevator, then take a van from inside the level and load it up and drive it out the exit
>>739153119I think it's safe to say that pilgrim and the other team we saw get mulched and the corvids are only the beginning. I want to see some Corvid vehicles that make use of cannibalized SNC tech and vehiclesOne idea that comes to mind>Corvid ultra class vehicle designed to carry a fucking huge railgun capable of punching through and demolishing several concrete buildings>consists of either 4 or 6 OuO cars welded together, hooked up to a cockpit that drives them, and wired up to a massive makeshift railgun constructed mainly from large scrap piping>major glass cannon prone to all sorts of issues. If even one car goes critical the fucking thing is prone to going flying forward or spinning out of control before going up in a chain reaction of explosions
>>739155849electric car treehouse that's the complete opposite sounds funny as hell
>>739155849I just want to see a technical of some kind. Feels sorta weird how we jump from tuktuk straight to van.
>>739155849What about a truck that has a trebuchet on the back that launches OvOs
Since we can mount vehicles on vehicles I wonder if we'll get any bigger carriers in the future that can mount things bigger than powersuits. Like a carrier than can carry a party van or maybe even a betka, or even multiple vehicles. Would be useful if the game has long ass missions like the closed casket special in the first game, you can bring a few vehicles for different situations or to swap them out if they get damaged.
>>739156064Kek, a more practical version might be smashing the engines of multiple ovos together into a single super fast suicide bomber
>>739156146Since the other rides get faster as you upgrade them, I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to drag race a modded ovo into an enemy vehicle. Maybe if the explosion worries the driver enough he will jump out and we can trade up.

What am I even meant to buy at the merchant? I only have 1000 credits despite looting every body
>>739157516Yeah I did notice that later on. Could have played into that but it was less effort to just speedrun the cop junkyard money mission a few times, because I didn't take the time to record the inventory.
>>739158330Anything you want, it's all affordable. The suits drop 100 often, but real money is restricted to the bottom of Sinkhole, or Vanderberg. It's in crates on those missions.
>>739158330Vandenberg has two crates with credits in them. Be ready for an APC
>>739158330Couple ways to make money. A few missions have big credit loot piles (easiest one is the cop elimination mission at the junkyard). Merchant buys specific scrap.
>>739158482>Merchant buys specific scrapLike engines and such? I see a "sell" tab. Not sure how to work it though
>>739158330Nothing until you got money. Run the Sinkhole, NOSOPOL Ammo Dump, Vanderberg or Vilutian Promenade.
>>739158523Anything you can buy from them, you can also sell.
>>739158523It's a verb not a tab. You sell whatever you have highlighted, so anything he sells he also buys. It's tough to make money selling to him outside of a specific exploit. You buy the light weapons crate and sell the ammo.
>>739158523>I see a "sell" tabIt's next to the 'buy' button when you select something. So far you can only sell stuff the merchant buys; engines, parts, exotic ammo, etc. My suggestion for money farming is to bring a van to the nospol ammo depot and load it up with the ammo with placeholder sprites, and sell it all off.

>>739127257I see Spacers as a satire of players 'looking down' on the apartment blocks and wriggling yellow raincoats of Solo Nobre like they are nothing more than ants. From their perspective, space is the true home of the elite, and the dirt-dwellers beneath them are nothing more than vermin whose destruction is of no significance. Spacers only begrudgingly work with terrestrial humans for profit and resource extraction, but simultaneously will never openly admit that human beings are ultimately terrestrial based creatures and can't stay in space forever for health and safety reasons, which is why there are entire districts populated by Spacers. So it's a combination of deep-seated loathing for terrestrial humans from the perspective of space-dwellers and a profound sense of embarrassment that they are forced to spend some time on planets as a result of the weaknesses of the human body. What's particularly interesting is that many of the Spacers actually seem like decent people, even if that makes them outcasts by Spacer standards: Katar Joutsen is a runaway sex slave clone trying to survive by her wits (kind of like Pris in Blade Runner), Nemi is a family man reduced to alcoholism after losing his wife and child to plague, Lovell Archer is a proud warrior with little interest in the depraved hedonism of most Spacers, which is why Chatfield admits he's the closest thing to 'good' that Spacers are, Aline Vocc is only fighting for SNC so she can continue her deep respect for tradition and not be forcibly sterilized, and Deni Haapala is basically a wandering Jomsviking mercenary searching for an honourable death so he can ascend to the afterlife.
>>739163589They're decent people by spacer standards, they're still psychopaths with tons of money that came to Solo Nobre just for the thrill of combat

>>739147774But the game explains to you what to do, and upon leaving it tells you that you have unstashed stuff.
>>739165401that popup is misleading, I hope they clarify it in the patch (or fix the bug that eats weapons left on the floor if that is a bug)
>>739157526How can you possibly lose that if you can just delete the entire map from spawn?
>>739160904Man I already have over 20 hours in the demo and now you're telling me I have to play some MORE?
>>739165469Anon, you're the first person across the five or so threads we've had so far who complained about this.
>>739146757Man, just slap double Sarissas on the full upgunned Mech. Absolutely insane. Cleared the entire map of Pasochyny so fast I thought I was only half done. The thing is these laser canons always kill what you hit and have massive AOE so they don't really suppress anyone to eat up your time, they just obliterate everything. I'm going to be really curious to see what kind of later missions they throw at us to justify this level of raw firepower. The 20mm Auto cannon isn't nearly as good because less AOE and the ammo take much more space, but those still shred too.
>>739165839that's not true, at least one person has mentioned in each of our threads that they thought leaving things on the floor would cause them to be stored because the popup says that will happenI've never been one of them, but I have commiserated with them because it happened to me too early on and left me wondering where all the guns I'd been kicking out onto the ground went.
>>739166101You could probably do it faster with something else with sheer speed, maybe the tank or the Cinderblock? But since you have to 100% kill everyone, efficient killing matters. Also being able to just blow up any terrain in your way is handy.

>>739165469It's supposed to stash all the gear on the floor but right now it only does some of it. I think that's getting fixed in tomorrow's patch.

>>739168470shit man has it been only five, I feel like we've been at it for a week or two

>>739167348Haven't ever seen it spawn naturally. Probably can only be accessed via debug
>>739168448Really fun demo that has all the cool systems in place and lets you play with them in a pretty sand boxy environment. something about this game just isnt compellingi had the same problem with brigador, which i half forced myself to complete the main game and no the extra missions did not compel me to play them - playing for le points isnt a good enough reason to play a gamei started wondering what this game would be like if it was and FPS similar to battlefield mainly being able to get in and out of vehicles and climb buildingsalso itd be cooler if they bothered to add in elements of current day warefare like DRONES as ENEMIES and usuable weapons and didnt nerf them because of player complaints

Seeing ordinary people as lowly worker bees, unworthy of their luxurious cities and advanced medical care, means the only 'working' Spacers are cyclolucidites like Oscar Allard. The senseless killing and destruction is the only thing they have left to do because they have met all of their basic needs without any scarcity.

It's certainly a theme in the second book, but I'd love it of hostiles surrendered or ran, and let me feel like a piece of shit for killing them anyway. Why was the SNC so admant on retaking Solo Nobre back from the NEP besides recouping corporate losses? Solo Nobre was one city on Novo Solo what made it more important that the SNC didn't think to just focus on the other cities on the colony?
>>739180682I think there's just the one other city on the planet and it's borderline a myth that it even exists, it definitely isn't producing anything of significant value on a galactic scale. Then again I don't think the original game actually established what Solo Nobre was producing that made it valuable either, it's not like a Dune situation where there's magic Novo soil for space travel or anything..
>>739180682>largest city on Novo Solo>Home of the NEP which overthrew the SNC in the first place>filled with orbital guns that complicate the shit out of a ground invasionAny more dumb questions?
>>739180226But they've got some really advanced tech and good fighters
>>739180682Solo Nobre is by far the largest and most developed city on the planet, and a good chunk of the other ones aren't even owned by SNCFurthermore its probably a matter of pride for some egotistical bigwigs, wanting to make an example of a colony that succeeded in breaking away
>entire insurgency being bankrolled to lower property prices
>>739180682That's what they do. A lot of flavor text implies this is business as usual for them, and Solo Nobre is just one of many colonies that the SNC's wider conglomerate manages. I'm sure losing it for so long probably stung the collective egos of whoever was at the top of that particular corporate structure, but ultimately it probably came down to sharholders being annoyed that number wasn't going up.
>>739179354>>739178192>Bec, Efi and Chadfield still alive post Brigador I know Bec is at least on our side so what about the other two?
>>739179875I'm mildly curious to hear how he even survived the Long Night. Dude was planning to go out in a blaze of glory for a life insurance payout, not retire in the lap of luxury. Either the SNC severely underestimated him or it turned out all he ever needed to do was stop giving a shit.
>>739181304Cephei obviously has nothing to do with this and is probably nowhere hear Mar NossoEfi is a coin flip but seemed to really not like the NEP, probably working as a scientist or engineer for the SNC Im still not sure how MB finessed his way back into the NEPs good graces, must've agreed to be a mole feeding them intel
What are rigs even supposed to be? Dromon is definitely more (less) than just some armored uniform. And a Cinderblock is almost a Suit by itself.Gameplay makes it feel like Synthetic where player remote controls a humanoid drone. But there was no such thing in the lore here, or am I missing something?
>>739181760Depends on the rig, the Loyalist one is just a modern tacticool getup, the dromon rig is spacer weirdo shit, the carmine rig is a battle rig from Volta thats similar to powered exoskeletonsTheyre far too small in scope of the first game to be relevant
>>739181304I hope Chatfield makes alive at least. Pic related really makes me want to see more interactions with them. I wouldn't mind if Efi died though. She's supposed to be the gun person, but all the best descriptions come from Beck anyway, so aside from being a flatter character, she's also sort of redundant.
>>739181760Rigs are just like the minimum viable equipment I guess? The cinderblock and carmine parts are probably connected to the suits under them in such a way that you can't fit into it without being totally naked and the dromon is probably form-fitting underneath the cloak, while proper power suits have at least a little space inside to fit a standard uniform.
>>739180905>what Solo Nobre was producing that made it valuable eitherFast food chain is the only thing the game mentions as a notable export and is supposed to be very popular among other frontier colonies>Even before there was a Great Leader, the founding interests in Solo Nobre (the same that have come back to reclaim it) knew that the colony held great potential for military and economic interestsFrom the entry about trains in first bookIt's never directly explained but there's probably a huge deposit of unobtainium or something. Military is far more vague, maybe the planet has a strategic position among the colonies, maybe it falls outside of legal jurisdiction area so corps could test their bioweapon shit before selling it to spacers thereIn other words - Burgers, oil and WMDs

>>739182728>first bookFuck meant game>Burgers, oil and WMDsBut in the opinion of this Brigador, it was all about pussy. If you took NEP upper branch and put their assets in Mar Nosso for a weekend, there wouldn't be a need for a hostile takeover. >>739183494Well brothels and graves and giant guns
>>739183215All that and yet when they were still under SNC control the people of Solo Nobre suffered. Was the Great Leader a soft of benevolent dictator that many thought life was better under him?
>>739183494>invested in pussy architecture Funny you say that, Great Leader literally did that, he established a bar/stripclub/brothel combo chain across the city to boost troop morale https://brigador.fandom.com/wiki/Texas_7_Casino
>>739160159>>739159823The lore entries in Brigador are hilarious. Cephei, Efi and MB all have very different writing styles representative of their factions but also have their own idiosyncracies.
>>739183796Yes, that was the main point since they were basically 90s Russia/Belgian Congo until Great Leader took over
>>739183796Great Leader wasnt soft or benevolent, he ruled with an iron fist What made him different was he wasnt interested in number go up and was an actual Nobrean, not some hyper rich guys in suits that are several solar systems away The greatest boon of his reign was massively cutting down on the cost of amenities, but realistically he could do nothing to significantly improve quality of life under the autarky he established, but opening the doors back up to the SNC was an inevitable slow crawl back to corporate rule
>>739184008>realistically he could do nothing to significantly improve quality of life under the autarky he establishedHe did seem interested in improving the lives of his citizens and that seemed to have paid off. Despite what the Corvids claim, Solo Nobre was like Singapore and the Great Leader had to take some authoritarian measures in order to Solo Nobre to prosper
>>739183809Interestingly there was also a cloning experiment called texas 7
>>739183796He did make an effort into improving their lives, the yellow coats were apparently made of sturdy stuff and he handed them to every citizenBut his priority was fortifying the planet against SNC retaliation
