The first half of the year has skewed too casual, but it’s been a solid pace of releases, and the games so far have been good (even Mario Tennis, for the first time in ages, though vastly overpriced). Image is worthless and misleading without Star Fox. All of that said, Splatoon Raiders feels like it’ll be the big game that starts fleshing out the year’s catalog into something with both casual and core appeal. And it looks like goty potential, for me
