She's like a female Susumu Hirasawa if you know him form Berserk. Her stuff is poppy, but in either an experimental way or a jazzy way (as opposed to Hirasawa being more of a new-age/prog guy). She's a gem if the Japanese music industry and Japanese pop as a whole.

Damn. Yeah, now that I think about it, both of these are really good. Like both are the exact same level of good and it'd be hard to pick one over the other.
