But to wipe out an entire fucking Great House?

Let me tell you a couple of three things. Forget the Camonna Tong. Forget our Ebony that goes to the Empire and never comes back. Forget about the Temple.

Vedam Dren has no respect for this thing. He's never done the Seven Graces, not really. He's a guy who stepped over his own people to grab the big seat.

Listen to me, they let anybody and everybody join over there, and the way that they do it is all fucked up. Beast races don't get whipped. It either has meaning, or it has no meaning. And the Crassius thing, the man harbors a faggot!

We got four fucking Great Houses then we got this other pigmy thing over in Balmora. There's no scribs in my scrib book.

PTR's worldbuilding does a very good job at hammering it in that the 4 races of Men are the only ones who are really thriving and happy with the Empire on a national level. Makes one understand why it's sometimes called the Empire *of Men*

I think "grace" here is used more like charity, like in "god's grace/divine grace" than gracefulness/charm. As if the constellation itself is blessing you with its charity and benevolence so you may survive all hardships. The lady's favor would be, I guess, courtly love which makes you more beloved by others.

The Elder Scrolls are real objects that Bethesda found in the basement of their offices and they've been using them as a basis for the game, changing aspects of the stories contained within them to make them better suited to being video games. Nothing is real.

From my understanding on the various Beast races' current status in TR/PT lore:

>Argonians are seeing Black Marsh chopped up into tiny bits. The "Kingdom of Argonia" the Empire set up to be a puppet government is basically entirely ignored at this point and various companies are offered the habitable outer areas of Black Marsh to exploit as they see fit. The Argonians that live far into the exterior are ignorant of the Empire or are starting to fall interested in revolutionary ideas to kick the Empire up, so unrest is building. Archon, the only real non-tribal Argonians, are merchant lords and want the Empire to both leave them be and give them profit, though they aren't really liked by the more tribal Argonians. Aside from a few tribes the various corporations and Empire had deals with, relations are tense at this point. For the average Argonian outside of Black Marsh, things seem fine enough. It's always difficult to tell what Argonians think.
>Khajiit are much more human in their thoughts than Argonians, and for them business is good with the Empire. Though Khajiit corporations aren't run the way normal men would run them. There's probably disdain over losing territory to the Cyrodils but overall Khajiit rolls with the punches and aren't interested in rocking the boat right now.
>Imga currently see Imperial society as that to emulate and they do, incorporating the elements they find worthwhile into themselves.
>Minotaurs are tribals that are largely respected and left to their own devices. They may not be citizens in the traditional sense but they're doing well under the Empire.
>Sload are still "Exterminate on sight" officially, but are able to find success in the Eastern provinces where the arm of the Empire can't reach as effectively. The Sload probably have diplomats to try and get a stronger hold on the rest of the Empire. I could see them being just a few corrupt bureaucrats away from acceptance.

To be fair, why would you? They offer zero advantages over an enchanted item other than maybe weight, and the asspain factor of making enough scrolls to replace a reusable enchanted item would probably be worse overall.
>>
Being a Wood Elf in Vvardenfell has to fucking suck. Dude suffers enough just being alive even if it's a 'chill' town like Seyda Neen. I do him a solid even if it's a cruel run, no reason to torment a dude with one useful thing in his entire life.
>>
>>739140063
Only after I found a more powerful enchanted healing item.
>>
>>739163524
Just kidding, I'd played the intro to the game several times (because I'm an idiot who can't into good builds). I knew about the ring quest so my in universe character simply didn't have time to talk to fargoth and didn't know his ring had been stolen. When he happened by Seyda Neen again (after using it as an early game crutch) he was joyous to return a lost item to such a fine individual as Fargoth.
Anyone else have this kind of autism where you won't break character even in a single player RPG so you perform intense mental gymnastics to justifly gameplay mechanics?
There are certain game breaking items that I know exactly where they are, but I won't go get them because my in game character would have no reason to know it, unless I can justify it to myself as he noticed it on the way to somewhere else he needed to go.

I always do, playing a villain never feels rewarding to me, the last time I made a dickass thief I got bored ten hours in.
Playing an immoral and irresponsible wizard on the other hand is great fun. Helping people one moment but suddenly siding with the ancient lich I just found because think of the spells my new friend could teach me!
>>
>>739172409
Yes, but be careful at the end, it changes out the grandmaster's weapon for a similar blade, and it counts as you being dishonorable because the game checks if you "stole" it, which will always be the case with LGNPCs because the devs did it themselves. I fixed it by bringing a Deadric Dai Katana to the fight and planting it on his body. It's stupid, but it works.
Also, LGNPCs sucks with Tamriel Rebuilt, because suddenly all the new towns and villages have generic NPCs while bumfuck nowhere on Vvardenfell has unique people everywhere.

I wonder how Winterhold will look like. It was once Skyrim's capital, and it has a magic college.

Before TESV warped them into meatheads, Nords called magic the "Clever Craft", which Shor used to create Sovngarde itself. Unlike other mortals, the Nords didn't give a shit about Magnus, whose Nordic aspect, Magnar, was killed and beheaded by Kyne.

Senchal in particular and everywhere that would eventually become Pelletine, has had good trading relations with the Cyrodiils since the first empire. Anequinna specifically built Riverhold to emulate the Second Empire and to get in on the river trade on Lake Rumare and up into Skyrim. The Khajiit have had pretty decent relations with the humans for most of history, the only real issues they've had are mainly from the Imperial side. Notably, the way Khajiit see property and theft causing friction with Imperial society, and a certain strand of racism among some Cyrodiils that look down at them as 'cats'. So the only real issue the Khajiit have with the Empire currently might be the territory confiscation or the Numidum nuke going off in Rimmen (but that's Rim Men territory, not Khajiit, so the upset at that would be limited for Khajiit.)

Centaurs are just lore as of now (they're mostly in Valenwood and High Rock so not a priority) and they're not sure how to weird them up (frequent issue with HR, they want to make it weird instead of just letting it be normal fantasy.) There's also Harpies and Satyrs (also just lore so far) and Lamia (they have them as models already, but only as enemies iirc.)

>>
>>739190012
The String Witch is how the Nords perceive KINMUNE because they obviously don't know what wires and computers are yet, and the String Witches are a coven of witches based around her. The strings and beads on the doll are iirc just mundane strings, the witches are simply emulating her and KINMUNE humors it even though she doesn't need their strings or even real wires to make their little doll dance and speak.

>>739190503
Limited. The Nords eventually sealed her up inside of Saarthal out of paranoia over her power and control (ironically making the Falmer's freaking out at them and triggering their own genocide and the Nords' animosity over elves completely pointless) so for most of history she's only had limited means of reaching out or spreading influence, these witches being one of them. There's very preliminary plans for you to be able to open up her mainframe and fiddle with her console eventually, though I'm not sure anyone has any conception of the actual reward and what her real goals would be for the Nords if she was free.

You could go Shivering Isles style and have it give you a buff/powers when you're in Skyrim.
>>
>>739190949
Very possible, though since Saarthal is likely to be THE hardest dungeon in Skyrim (with only Labyrinthian being competition, unless they're planning to do something weird with Snow Throat or the underworld) how useful a buff limited to Skyrim would be is a bit questionable.

>on buddhist-cthulhu dream land magic planet
You do realize why they keep this on the down low, do you?
Why it's never explicitly stated, why the only times it's referenced in game, is if it can be interpreted in a non-literary way.
>>
>>739193712
You just made me think, if you unseal KINMUNE and she's grown fond and friendly to the Nords from the thousands of years she's been interacting with them she could legitimately bootstrap them ahead technologically in relation to other factions, even the Bretons and Redguards who are starting to industrialize.
>>
>>739193856
The question is whether or not she's intelligent enough to do that. KINMUNE's the gestalt of a bunch of mining rig operators, it'd be like saying an airline pilot could show you how to build an airplane.
>>
>>739193760
And KINMUNE is on the downlow, all anyone knows about her is she's some legendary witch from ancient history who uses strings as a conduit, can tell prophecy, and gives good advice, and that this one Coven claims they're in contact with her and she can speak through their dolls. Going in and interacting with her is the equivalent of going through Red Mountain and interacting with the Heart of Lorkhan in how distant it is from daily mundane life, but you get to do it anyway.
>>
>>739193970
True, I don't think she'd be able to tell people how she works, but even the imperfect intelligence and understanding of a super-advanced and ancient mining robot is probably enough to really boost an Early Modern pre-industrial society pretty significantly.
>>
>>739193970
You gonna integrate this new sotha stuff into SSE?
>>
>>739193993
I hope they keep it a bit subtler and a bit more mysterious than that and the witches either don't know or don't say outright that it's Kinmune that they're communing with just that it's something/someone very powerful and let the player slowly unravel the whole KINMUNE aspect. Lorewise KINMUNE has been under Saarthal for millennia and would either be bascially unknown or be passed down in tales as an ancient enemy that Ysgramor defeated.
>>
>>739192216
I just don't like when deep lore shit is too visible out in the open.

If it were an obscure with coven that worships a doll with strings, and if you do a bunch of stuff you discover it can talk and says cryptic things, and you can investigate its surroundings afterwards and find scratches on the wall that say "KINMUNE" in some other language and research the word to connect the dots, that's based.

If you have them be a popular coven everyone knows that parades dolls around and everyone knows KINMUNE gives the best prophecies, that's stupid. It's like having some peasants in a tavern discussing CHIM.

TR is generally good with this. There are weird lore references and strange things but they're kept out of the way and hidden. Like the secret puzzle referencing the tones of Padomay, our friend in the Narsis sewers, the stuff hidden in Necrom, Uncle Sheo's private island. Even the sload that gets posted every thread is far out of the way and his nature is supposed to be a secret which is only revealed by finding him. If a simple sload is that well hidden I don't think NordGPT should be that out in the open, let alone "popular".

tl;dr just make it obscure so it doesn't go against this
https://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/about/about-our-lore#cosmic
>>
>>739194853
The witches are gonna call her Kinmune because in a Nord context Kinmune is understood to be a legendary witch from Saartal whose prophecy helped Ysgramor and then disappeared (the real story is that Ysgramor freaked out at one of his buddies getting brain damage from using her and sealed her away in revenge.) They don't know Kinmune is a computer. They don't need to hide her name just because players are aware of the KINMUNE story, any more than PT needs to hide the existence of the Hist because we the players know they're freaky alien pre-Dawn tree spirits. Or TR trying to rewrite the main quest to hide it's Lorkhan's Heart they're fucking with. We know the implication, the in-setting people do not, and that's fine, you can't hide revelations from people in the know already.
>>
>>739195005
You're going to get upset when they get to Tear and there's a giant Sload airport right next to the city, as was canon in Morrowind concept art, that literally everyone knows about. The coven and her name don't need to be secret or hidden from us, the players, only the true nature of what they're doing should be obscure to people in-setting.
>>
The low fantasy peasant fears the manareactor chad
>>
>>739195361
I didn't mean that to say sloads are a secret, it's more like the fact that the big criminal kingpin who moved in turns out to be a sload, and the new drug he's pushing is something unexpectedly sload-like, and that is the secret, and it's more interesting because they kept it a secret.

Communication terminals for an space mining AI construct from the distant future just seem too "cosmic TES" to have wandering around in random places known by everybody. It's less about whether that's plausible and more that it feels tacky to me. Like it's probably known or assumed that imperial officials have special teleportation infrastructure, can go to places like the Battlespire etc. but you won't find the teleporter in Old Ebonheart unless you really look for it. They're not in roadside stands waiting for high officials to roll up in a carraige. "popular coven regularly traveling the roads" just feels like a bit much for this cosmic type stuff.
>>
>>739195205
Eh it's cooler if esoteric crazy shit is kept below the surface sometimes. Cheapens it a bit if you just meet a bunch of people going "hey we're worshipping KINMUNE" while you're strolling around. Plus plenty of players don't actually know much about the more obscure parts of the lore and even those that know of KINMUNE might not make the connection immediatley if it's more hidden.
>>
>>739196364
The connection of who she is is hidden is the thing, it's just "wow cool ancient witch, cool witch coven" among a dozen other witch covens they want you to interact with if you don't know the name already. Like Skyrim players finding the Eye of Magnus and not doing a double take because they don't know about her either.
>>739196186
>Communication terminals
They're legit just dolls, it's the Kinmune equivalent of the Companions going around claiming the inheritance of Ysgramor. Some witches put on a puppet show and peasants line up hoping for a prophecy, 90% of the time they get nothing, 10% of the time the doll speaks at them like a Mechanical Gypsy, and anyone with an education says the witches are scamming you and operating the puppet with strings in the back or telekinesis. The fact she actually is spreading influence by occasionally spitting out a real prophecy is the secret.
>>
>>739196038
Fantasy becoming mainstream was such a mistake, back in the 90's having scifi in your fantasy was normal and expected, but ever since normalfags got really into LoTR suddenly it's a cardinal sin when it happens.
>>
>>739196038

difference is Morrowind does it gud
>>
>>739196186
>>739196364
Once again I think the issue is that you're having a disconnect between what you know about Kinmune (she's a mining robot from the future) with what people in-setting know about Kinmune (she's a legendary witch.) To the average person in Skyrim, when someone mentions Kinmune it's not like they're bringing up high-concept shit and super advanced magic or technology, because nobody knows that about her. To them, it's like mentioning one of the 500 Companions. An ancient, probably dead, person who had legendary powers or feats. Like Nerevar.
>>
>>739197475
Also most of the time the actual "sci-fi" shit at least looks like it belongs in universe. It'll resemble something like the Narsis reactor or Sotha Sil's shit.
>>
>>739197608
Yeah it's likely it has a very magitech kind of feeling to it, I bet the inside of the Adamanitum Tower (also a spaceship,) and the Imperial's mothship port will also give off a similar vibe.

Jyg exists because he's mentioned in Varieties of Faith, which is a Morrowind-era book. We were told by the devs (of Morrowind) that his name was put in just to introduce the possibility of more Daedric Princes beyond the 16 for future use, without any real lore or identity attached to the name at the time. Jyg as a character was entirely invented by the DLC.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if Redoran culture was strongly influenced by the neighboring Nords. Which is kinda funny when the part of Skyrim they're near ia the one that produced Shalidor and have ancient magic traditions when the Redoran are kinda tepid on that.

Isn't the actual argument that it was empty devistation when like half of vvardenfel could be described as that?
>>
>>739205210
No, because Vvardenfell's 'devastation' is volcanic badlands. Numidium's devastation is a screaming reality-fucked exclusion zone.
>>
>>739205016
>>739205173
>Hmm, I am inside a big machine god tower that has no equal on Nirn, how should I attack?
>Should I deploy my robot in a way to aid in mundane and costly warfare?
>Or should I just walk in a straight fucking line and erase everything in ny path and cause capitulation through fear alone?
>I'll take the first, obviously!
>>
>>739205210
Yeah but Vvardenfell being mostly ashy wasteland was always a thing in lore while like a tenth of the Summerset Isles being time distorted wasteland was 100% their own original idea
>>
>>739204957
Summerset Isles devs really are just the Altmer, wanting their regions to be perfect and not interesting at all.
>>

>>
>>739205937
It's full retardation is what it is.
It's pitch-fucking-perfect design to have a big ol' scar on Summurset. Gives you a high-level zone with an immediately noticable biome that feels dangerous to be in, gives you full reign to show lingering and blossoming anti-imperial sentiment, and gets in the way of basically nothing (aside from roads, which I could imagine being replaced by teleportation or something)
>>
>>739204957
Even putting aside the cool lore stuff, having the Titan's Wake as a Red Mountain like high level area in the middle of the map the player is forced to maneuver around would have been a good idea

They have a problem with dunmerboos too. They want to remove Old Ebonheart and make it Indoril rather than Imperial because having it Imperial makes the dunmer look weak or something. Lame af.
>>
>>739204957
>>739206812
>A new Island smack dab where Titan's wake used to be
This smells like someone's attempt to squeeze in their little shit spot at the cost of cool lore.
>>
>>739206438
In a symbolic sense, it also reflects perfectly on Summerset's status in the Third Era and the wound in the Altmer's pride. The whole myth of ancient, untouched culture, being inviolable and set apart from other people, has been completely violated, and the Titan's Wake was a big fat physical manifestation of the psychological and cultural scar this left, something that can never be erased or healed no matter how hard they try to ignore it.
>>
>>739206812
It's not even that big a region and it neatly divides the islands in half making the player have to think about getting around and maybe following the coastline instead just going straight from point A to B like, you know, Vvardenfell where managing travel routes and fast travel is a major gameplay thing because you can't just cross the island on foot
>>
the elves would fix titan's wake in no time, it's unrealistic to have it
a giant scar through the zone is stupid mmo shit
>>
>>739206947
That's... actually really bad.
There's so much shit that currently relies on an Imperial Old Ebonheart.
And Khalaan is already a great explaination for the Imperializarion of Ebonheart.
>>
>>739207112
It's literally a scar made by a robot that literally erases shit from existence, whose paradoxical nature as a Tower literally breaks time whenever it's turned on.
No mortal in the 3rd era could fix that shit. It'd take a power like the ALMSIVI to do it, and only because one of them has CHIM.
>>
>>739207349
just because le robot made it doesn't mean it must be that way forever
most things the robot did do not magically stay that way forever
>>
>>739206947
>>739207186
To be fair Ebonheart being a Dunmer city goes back to the First Era. One of the issues with the Khalaan thing is specifically that it contradicts the fact that it's supposed to be ruled by House Mora according to older lore, and to make way for Khalaan they had to shift Mora into being the lords of some random irrelevant fishing village out east which makes zero sense with any lore surrounding them or Nerevar.

>>
>>739207112
>>739207542
One of the Numidium's claims to fame is erasing the guys, the Mirror Logisticians, who knew how to undo the shit it did.
>>
>>739206947

>>
>>739207731

>>
>>739207542
If you could point out something that the robot did that was undone by anything that wasn't said robot, I'd believe you.
But as it stands, Manninarco is still the Revenant Moon, the Underking has his soul, Daggerfall is less kingdoms now, Orsinium is a part of the Empire, High Rock is imperial, the Dwemer (minus Kagrenac) are gone, and the Halls of the Colossus are fucked.
>>
>>739207912
Oh. then my arguement holds no water. Carry on then.
>>
>>739207945
>Daggerfall is less kingdoms now
PTR retconned that too, now the Numidium didn't do anything and all the kingdoms in Daggerfall are untouched because someone had a HRE fetish.
>>
>>739207731
The only lore Ebonheart had in Morrowind just sorta described it as a generic blank slate Arena city state ruled by some ambiguous king
I don't even think it's ever explicitly stated in Vanilla Morrowind that Castle Ebonheart isn't the same thing as the city of Ebonheatt

Though given that the Numidium was not walking in the exact same spot in all timelines, I can see less physical devistation being a thing, but I still want to see a big fuck-ass crater in Iliac bay when it woke up.
>>
>>739208061
No, their argument is that the Miracle of Peace, the part where all the kingdoms of the bay get condensed into just four kingdoms, is an Oblivion invention they are not beholden to being faithful to, thus really only the part where all parties vying for the totem got their own Numidium is canon, and only Orsinium used the Numidium for significant territorial expansion because it makes sense for them to do so or something
>>
>>739208280

It's not. PTR isn't using the whole 'black soul gem' or 'Necromancy is banned' stuff from Oblivion, so Mannimarco being a god doesn't really change much. From what I've read its only had an effect on Sload culture, where necromancers have gained more influence because of it. The Underking killing himself meanwhile is only relevant to himself and his wish to die, he wasn't doing anything anymore and was long assumed dead by everyone else in the setting.

The Dreugh refuse to answer to any authority and the Imperials are content to just kill them when they cause problems for that reason. They were lords during the last kalpa and have too much ego to ever bow down to anyone but Molag Bal, and it takes magic or submarines to interact with them anyway.
>>739213317
They have farms and shit but they're very degraded from what they were at one point. Still, they're more like Goblin level now, rather than Troll. Goblins can be dealt with diplomatically sometimes though, because they don't have the same ego issue.

Reading into the actual rework of Old Ebonheart
>Most in-game implementation seems to go off the notion that Old Ebonheart is the Imperial capital of Morrowind. Yet, that is not supported by known Bethesda lore that places the Imperial proconsul in Narsis and the Imperial-appointed King Helseth in Almalexia.
>It is unclear whose castle Ebon Tower is – whether King Helseth's (which is what most signs point to) or Duke Vedam Dren's. In either case, it needs to be made clear why the ruler isn't present in the castle.
>...This leaves the royal court, throne room, treasure chambers and other royal trappings. Currently, these are implied to be King Helseth's, yet that is not satisfying given Helseth's strong position in Almalexia.
I don't know about you, but Helseth's "Palace" in Almalexia doesn't feel that strong. In fact, I'd call it temporary lodgings, if anything.
I'd imagine keeping the residence of the Imperial King in his own city makes a lot more sense than him being within breathing distance of the most Warlike of the Tribunal

Anyway Kirkbride has said that he personally suggested Red Year happen so he could nuke all his toys (Morrowind) and not have anyone else play with them. Even outside of the fact that anything post-Morrowind isn't canon, I don't think we should respect something done purely for spite like that.

Azura doesn't actually care about the Dunmer, and is more upset that the Tribunal dared become gods more popular than her.
She's a massive bitch
>>
>>739215604
>Azura doesn't actually care about the Dunmer
Incorrect, Azura's motivation is to see mortals achieve Lorkhan's dream, and she personally selected the Dunmer and Khajiit for this. The Dunmer are doing a better job of it so she's invested. Skyrim just isn't canon.
>>
>>739215669
>The Dunmer are doing a better job of it so she's invested
Really? The Khajiit are the ones who worship the Moons, plus they have much better relations with the Empire, which is the most Lorkhanic/Shezarrite faction in the setting (despite worshiping Akatosh).

Lorkhan's goal is for mortals to follow the Walking Ways to Amaranth. What the Khajiit are worshiping and them liking humans is completely irrelevant. The Imperials aren't particularly Lorkhanic/Shezarrite simply because the Third Empire was founded by a Shezzarine and worship the Lorkhan of the next kalpa, because the Empire isn't trying to follow the Walking Ways. They're like the Nords, they worship the substance of Shor but ignore his message. The Dunmer are doing better because they are engaging with the message.

Mostly Boethiah's motivation, once evidence is considered. When the Psijic Endeavour resulted in an Ascended Dunmer, she spat in his face and wanted him dead.

The Dunmer area collective project of Boethiah, Mephala, and Azura, and all three of these are Lorkhan fangirls. Pre-Tribunal Dunmer religion makes it very clear how the three contribute collectively to their worldview.
>the Psijic Endeavour resulted in an Ascended Dunmer
The Psijic Endeavor is a specific Walking Way and it is not the one Vivec followed, though he says Nerevar did.
>she spat in his face and wanted him dead
The Tribunal murdered Nerevar, the chosen of all three Good Daedra and the favorite of Azura in particular. They betrayed him, desecrated Lorkhan's heart (she's a fangirl, remember) and achieved a godhood unrelated to the Walking Ways. Vivec achieved CHIM secondarily from that. So yeah she's mad at him for good reasons, he did something horrible to the most promising mortal ever and didn't even achieve the right things via doing it. But even Vivec claims he 'sits with Azura' in the end waiting for Nerevar to achieve his destiny and reach Amaranth.

>>
>>739162710
In PTR lore, the tense situation in Argonia is spiced up quite a bit by religious fervor due to the Empire accidentally blowing up a Hist and the Hist waking up because of the Warp in the West a few years prior, as well as the Empire not doing anything against the Dres after the Arnesian War. Much like in Bethesda canon, it's a situation that will logically lead to the Imperials getting kicked out and an invasion of Morrowind
>>

>>
>>739216734
Unlike with Bethesda there's no guarantee the Dunmer will get fucked and fold to the Argonians even if they manage to kick the imperials out. Pretty sure the province's main quest is going to be about deciding if the Argonians modernize or retvrn to tradition since those are the two main unifying factions present in the docs so far.
>>
>>739216390
>Psijic Endeavour
HELLO, FELLOW CULTIVATORS.
>>
>>739216704
The only thing I can say in her defense is that the only person who claims Ayem was a cheater is Vivec in his Lessons, which are allegorical and he's known to be a liar and have a personal grudge against her (he calls her a bitch-whore when he first meets Nerevar.) So you don't have to believe him when he claims she fucked Sotha-Sil. But she did murder you, that's true regardless.
>>
>>739216821
Or getting them to unite since the discussion about the differences between the two is accentuated with a "(for now)" in the doc

And the Dunmer could very well get fucked since the latest debate on the nature of the Hist had all the writer niggas agree that the Hist are in fact fearsome gods who do indeed have a will of their own and are capable of telling the lizards what to do and wage wars of sorts, just not by directly hijacking their minds like in Bethesda canon
>>
>>739217147
I personally wouldn't want them to unite because I kinda disagree with the religious faction's desire for argonians to stay tribal and subservient to the trees. But it's ultimately up to the far-future quest devs to decide what the future for Argonians will be like and how much choice you get to have in it.
>The Dunmer could get fucked
And without a Red Year nuke they also might not, the same devs tend to think Red Year is dumb and the Dunmer could literally just mine the meteor out (which is true.) Nerevarine could've properly set Morrowind up to whether Imperial collapse and come out on top, who can say. The mod's not going to explore it either way, that's future stuff and beyond scope.
>>
>>739216651
Yet, oddly, you don't hear either Boethiah or Mephala complaining about The rise of the Tribunal, only Azura. Only the Lady of supreme pettiness. The only one whose Teachings seem unrelated to the Endeavour altogether.

>>
>>739217385
You also don't hear Vivec mention Boethiah or Mephala helping her prepare to be Nerevar's bride when he achieves Amaranth either. Anyway it's very obviously because Nerevar was Azura's favorite and she might've possibly also loved him in a way, them fucking with the heart, as bad as it is, is clearly not the thing that upsets her as much as the Foul Murder is. I don't think you can call her petty for getting mad at them betraying the world's most promising mortal, their friend/lord/lover/husband, and her personal favorite and maybe even love out of the pursuit of power.

Also once again the Psijic Endeavor is something specific, it's ascension via hardship. The hero's journey. One of the Walking Ways associated with Nerevar, not the Tribunal.

>I don't think you can call her petty for getting mad at them betraying the world's most promising mortal, their friend/lord/lover/husband, and her personal favorite and maybe even love out of the pursuit of power.
I can, given that the entirity of Dunmeri culture was set up around betrayal and murder, it was inevitable that the leader of said culture will be betrayed and murdered.
I'd personally not get that invested in any given mortal in such a culture.

Repetition of the Ritualistic Enantiomorph. Overthrowing the Ruling King and taking his throne. It's a part of the Endeavour, anon.
>>
>>739219020
The enatiomorph involves four individuals/things in specific role. A king and a rebel fighting over a lover overseen by a witness. You can't have three rebels at once, only one. The rebel and king also have to be unified as one in a sense, which the tribunal was not with Nerevar. If it was an attempt, it was a failed one.
>>
>>739217649
Momentum without mass is largely meaningless. If you mined out the rock and spread it over a large area it becomes basically the same as tossing a bunch of stones into the air and letting them fall to the ground. Hell, you could even mine it out, levitate them very high, and then let them burn up as they fall if you really wanted. Or just toss them into a daedric realm I dunno, it's their problem now.
>>
>>739219164
Firstly, no. The Enantiomorph absolutely does not require a lover. Nir was the Observer with Padomay and Anu.
In this instance, Alandro Sul, or Perhaps Dagoth, were the Observer.

You are assuming that Air has friction here.
>>
>>739219457
It must, or you would be able to accelerate infinitely via levitation spells.
>>
>>739219319
ALMSIVI became a three-in-one after, not during. Keep your order of operations straight, Vivec never claims the Tribunal achieved Enantiomorph, only the Scarab. On the other hand, he does say the Nerevarine achieved it with Dagoth Ur, with himself as the witness.

I'm not sure why you want to defend the Foul Murder when the entire Tribunal felt guilty about it and tried to retcon a universe into being where they didn't do it, and all three coped themselves to death over it anyway. Nobody defends the action in the end, so why is Azura bad for calling that out in the moment rather than needing time to realize it wasn't worth doing it? Vivec gets over his asshurt at Azura eventually too, so you're kinda defending a grudge even he accepts he shouldn't hold eventually

>Azura
Was proven correct. The entire Tribunal felt guilt and agreed with her judgement that it was wrong. Azura saved everyone's bacon by ensuring Nerevar would return as the Nerevarine. Vivec reconciles with Azura eventually. You can keep saying 'oh she was just a bitch' but when Vehk himself can't help but agree with what she says, needs her help to stop Dagoth Ur, and in the end goes to her for the final stretch towards Amaranth you have to ask yourself at the last "What was she being a bitch about, if everything she did and said was correct?" You either have to accept that the Tribunal were mistaken in what they did, or start theorizing that Azura was plotting the entire thing to ensure Nerevar would achieve Amaranth, and then you start to ask yourself if the Tribunal were ever truly at odds with her or it they had been in on it.

She is absolutely not, anon. The Nerevarine wasn't needed to defeat Dagoth, a Hero was, and would've arisen even if Azura did nothing, as is the nature of the Prisoner.
She's inherently selfish, only spitting at the Tribunal because they took her role and killed her champion, not because she's wanting to help her people.
>Vivec's Claim
Are you seriously calling the Pomegranate Banquet a ritualistic repetion of the Enantiomorph?
It doesn't even meet your apparent standards of Lover and Observer.
As for the Anticipations, them being replaced by the Tribunal are something that you can directly look at and see the sign of the Enantiomorph. Your source need only be any of the ones that speak of how the Tribinal replaced them in Dunmeri culture, and one for the Enantiomorph itself.

This is the kind of argument that would call a mother selfish for getting upset at her child getting murdered. It just doesn't make any sense, because you're completely stripping out any emotional element or logic here. You can try to argue it was done for a 'greater good' and thus the ends justify the means, but calling her selfish or bad for being upset at a murder? You're not even bothering to offer up a justification.
